What a joke, registered the card, said it was good to go, the embarrassment at a store when they card was declined. Looking at review here, why am i not surprised. I have emailed Called and am still no closer to using the card

"PERX Card not working"
Card is showing as active but can't make any online or instore purchases as card is apparently not authorised despite following all the steps required. Currently on hold for an hour trying to get this sorted. Really bad service and would not recommend Perx to anyone

After being on hold for close to 2 hours I was told that I had to renter my phone number and that "everything should be okay in 10 mins" I asked what do I do if that doesn't work (which of course it hasn't) and I was told to just ring back???
Terrible customer service and a lousy product. Steer clear
I haven't received a DM from you, maybe you could supply me with a number to speak to a person without having to spend 2 hours on hold??
DM has just come through and I have submitted my number for you to reply.
As it is now 3.00 and you close at 5.00 am I to wait for a call or should I start my 2 hour holding experience again today to get an answer to what is a simple question??

Update #5: still no contact from Perx. There is no effort being made to resolve this. How is this not regulated???? How can we formally lodge a complaint? Where is our money? Why can’t we access it?
UPDATE #4: still nothing. Time to contact the Financial Ombudsman.
Reply:I sent you my details on Dec 20th and you acknowledged receipt. Still no call a week later
UPDATE: Christmas is over, still no word from Perx. This is bordering on criminal behaviour. Give me access to the money tied up on your card immediately. Outrageous, not even a phone call in 2 weeks. DISGRACEFUL
UPDATE: Still no word from Perx. Hard to buy Christmas presents without using the money on the card.

Card not working. Called the number for support. No62 in the queue. Stayed on hold for over an hour before you cut me off, asking me to leave contact details that you haven’t used yet.
No reply to emails.
3rd year on the trot there have been issues with Perx. That’s inexcusable. You’re not investing in systems or support.

Still no reply from Perx . Are they still in buisness if so shocking customer service. Best to go with clever card or one 4 all as they are a joke of a company

Tried to use card today in Tesco's and it was declined.
It is a new card and active. Very frustrating and kind of embarrassing 😳

Have unlocked the card and it won't work. Tried using it and it said not authorised and was declined at the till. Like everyone else your phone lines are crazy. No responded to my email and I left a message and got no reply.

Having the same issue as a number of other people with this card. Was able to add it to my account with no issues at all, but when I got to activate the card it is advising me that they are unable to verify cardholder. This has been an extremely frustrating experience for me.

Activated card online, set up account. Tried to use in tesco tonight and was declined. Amount on card far exceeded the transactions. So, I just now tried an online transaction and sure enough also declined. From what im seeing here this company looks like its about to go belly up with a lot of peoples money. The online portal look like it was a junior cert project

Received a perx card from my employer. Tryed to unlock the card , keeps saying surname is invalid . Rang the phone on 3 different occasions, 64th in the queue, got all the way down to 4 in the queue then they just hung up . Very infuriating. Not happy at All . Still waiting on a reply
