"I have been forced to write a review on…"

I have been forced to write a review on Trustpilot because I have been trying since the 18th of December to get a response from Perx.
I have have 5 phone calls, 2 hours in total on hold.
3 emails
3 escalations which have resulted in nothing. Three times I have been told a supervisor would contact me and it hasn’t happened.
I couldn’t use my 2023 card from Perx because it wouldn’t activate, and the 2024 cards were delayed until Jan.

I don’t understand how something so simple as sending a link is so complicated.
Perx are unable to perform the service they are advertising.
Their customer service can’t help only repeatedly saying they are “sorry for the inconvenience they are constantly causing”.

"3D Secure Issues"

Received this card from my employer for Christmas. Never had an issue in using them in the past until this time. Added the card to my existing account without any issues. Problem is trying to activate the 3D secure option for online shopping. Keep getting an error message as I do not know what the 4 digit pin is, nor was I asked to create one when adding my card. Not sure if this is just a glitch as I've had an online account with Perx/EML the last number of years. Anyway, can't access funds on card thanks to this ridiculously archaic system. Impatiently waiting on an update from customer service but going by the most recent reviews I won't be holding my breath for a speedy resolution.

"The stress trying to register the card "

Trying to register this card is just a bleeding nightmare rang waiting for a call back with 5 days now card brand new gifted to me from my boss and its saying already registered to another user very bad customer service I absaloutely hate dealing with perx total nightmare

"After having trouble activating my card…"

After having trouble activating my card and then having other issues I contacted the call center who were not very helpful and advised me to email instead,which I did without response so I found myself having to write a one star review on perx. I was finally contacted by email by Ellie,she looked into the issue and has completely resolved it for me in a matter of hours.Perx needs to ditch the broken English speaking call centres and employ more people like Ellie,card is working fine now,thank you Ellie.

"Absolute shambles"

Absolute shambles. Got a new card- came up as “already registered to another account” spent 3 hours calling customer service- only to be cut off each time by the representative. Sent several emails, called numerous times since then, only to be told “we will call you back- it has been escalated to urgent you will hear back in 2-3 hours. This was days ago and still nothing. Absolute shambles- would never recommend.

"I had an avoidable issue, that was well resolved "

I had issue with setting up my 3D secure for online purchases. I had setup for my card activated in 2023, however for my current one I could not.

Issue was PIN code. Was not clear if was asking me to create a pin or add a pin for 3D secure. Would just get a generic error message. So I could not proceed

I rang customer service, at 9am the next day, call answered within a minute of waiting.

After usual security questions cleared , customer service agent gave me the pin. Issue resolved , I setup 3D secure.

The website could be more clear in what detail it is asking for. Should also provide specific error messages rather then the same generic one for all issues.

So website is somewhat frustrating , but my experience with the customer service was very good.


For sure it was a low end query issue resolution that I’m sure every customer service representative has a script for.

Still though, my issue was well
Resolved.

"Dogsh!t support"

Dogsh!t support, instructuctions online that don't work, random errors that are undefined and unexplained. Basically they take your mkoney and won't let you use it. great business model for fraud

"In all my Time dealing with customer…"

In all my Time dealing with customer service experience this has to be the worst I have Ever dealt with. 2 weeks now of going back and forward with customer service....over my lost card now my emails are being ignored its shocking would never recommend this company to any employer to use. I hope the UK customer service is better than the Irish one.

"Worst customer service……actually no…"

Worst customer service……actually no customer service. Was depending on my Perx card to do some last minute online Christmas Shopping. That went out the window when I couldn’t activate the online verification.
Several calls and emails over a number of days and I’ve yet to get a response. Twice when I got through on the phone I was told I was through to the wrong number and they would put me on to the right person . Well here we are ,Christmas over , presents not bought .
Several people I know who got these cards from our employer for Christmas have had the same experience. I shall be recommending that we NEVER get these cards again . No problem getting through if you want to buy one though !!!!!!!
