"Cannot Return Item"

I love the clothes in general but I have been trying to return a dress. Whenever I put the order number into the returns portal it doesn't recognise it. I have been sending emails asking for help from customer services and have heard nothing back. It is getting to the point that I will not be able to return within the 30 day period. If anyone sees this I will provide you with my email address to sort this out.

"Absurd"

Don’t ship homeware overseas EVEN THOUGH they have a whole EU store where you can buy homeware. Buy? Yes. Have it shipped? No!
On top of that the customer service is far from agreeable, the assistants are superficial and really not paying attention to what is being said to them.
Otherwise - good products.

"Hello house!!"

I bought a large rug and 2 cushions.
I love them.
They have added colour and character to my lounge.
I bought gripper for under the rug. Does the job and shows the rug off to its full potential.
I would love to add a light teal cushion to finish the style.

"Expensive pricing for poor quality goods."

Please can I ask for advice. I purchased a ribbed woollen type knit dress from french connection online.
After two wears,the dress looks shabby because the wool has ‘pilled’ on one side of the dress. Can I exchange, or return it, because of what I consider to be quality issues.

"Awful returns policy for homeware…"

Staggered that such a large company does not offer free returns on homeware. No other homeware company I know has this policy, which means customers are expected to purchase based on photos online alone unless they live near a store, which I don’t! You can’t even return to a store which again is staggering, for me making a long trip to a store would likely be cheaper than returning the items I wish to return.

This is stipulated in the returns policy on the website but after a paragraph describing their free returns policy for other items, meaning it can be easily missed! The company should really be doing much more to warn customers of this, especially given the size of the packages meaning return costs can be extortionate.

I feel that the company needs to increase their transparency of this policy during the checkout process.
I will not purchase again due to this, the return costs are prohibitive to any normal person wishing to return something, which they should have every right to do in a cost effective manner. I’m disgusted!

"FCUK mens slippers"

My daughter bought me a pair of French connection mens slippers for Xmas. Started wearing them last week and already the soles have worn down on the edge. Not good quality at all! Tesco £4 ones are 1000 times better.

"Never consider working for this…"

Never consider working for this company. Especially if it’s located in a House of Fraser. The managers give you 2-4 hours of training and then expect you to work on you’re own. They lie about the pay on the job description and make you travel hours for you’re induction. You’re expected to know everything you need to know about a job you’ve never done previously and then get sanctioned for not doing so with no training at all.

"Appreciate FCUK read my previous review and did something about it"

Haven’t actually bought anything, just setting up an account and placed a 30 cm plant pot in my basket , filling in all my details to be shown a STAGGERING £25 pounds for delivery ????? Eh?? Classed as a large item , are you sure 30cm??? Unbelievable, will find something else thanks 👍🏻
Edited for response , what I actually wanted to buy was a hanging planter £39 a copper bowl 30cm with a string of very nice beads holding it up, as a customer of Amara, olivias, wayfair, heals, design vintage, next , etc I have never been charged £25 for this size item, with an extensive background in retail myself , using Hermes, yodel, Royal Mail, ups, parcel force etc , unless you are insuring these items for over £500 value, it should not cost nearly a 3rd of the retail price to send this through the post, it’s a shame because the item was lovely, but I have found similar on Etsy, shipping from the Ukraine to uk for £6, I have just ordered a fragile vase from Amara 32 cm , post charge £7

Thank you FCUK for acknowledging my recent review and actually doing something about it, by changing the very high post cost to a very very reasonable amount , I purchased the copper bowl planter, my order was dealt with promptly, email updates , and I received my order 5 days after ordering, very well boxed to prevent damage and the item itself is gorgeous and well worth the money, I have therefore changed my review rating, and I am more pleased that you as a large company actually acted on my review so thank you 😊
