Stefan Grzunov was who I spoke to about renewing, very polite and quick. No issues at all. I've used Hyperoptic for around 2 years now and the service is also good.

"Nightmare - Poor Connection - "TOTAL WIFI" is a scam"

I signed up with Hyperoptic since they seemed to be commercial and appeared to offer fast speeds at competitive prices. What was not obvious is that I needed to add an extender to the bill. Fair enough. We have been customers for a few weeks now and it has been the least reliable service I have seen in this country. Even when it's up my download speed is closer to 60mb rather than the 1gb I am paying for for. Customer Service is grumpy and is more interested in belittling the customer than making any effort to help - AVOID!!!!

PS: I am writing this connected through my mobile connection.

I have no idea why Hyperoptic gets good reviews
I connect with them to get 1GB speed, the maximum I got was 300 to 400 mb
You don't get WiFi if you go few meters away from the router
Made few complaints to support, no one even replied or offered any support

"Appaling services of recent times continues"

04/02/2025: Absolutely appaled with the recent customer service provided by Hyperoptic. We had a 2 year contract with Hyperoptic where everything was running pretty well. Good speeds, no downtime, no problems with customer service with any queries. Since we moved to the monthly rolling contract recently the speeds have reduced by a lot. Hardly getting a tenth of the speeds we had when we were on the 2 year contract. The connection keeps dropping every other day. Called customer services, raised a ticket almost a month ago and no updates nothing from them. Really disappointed with the service of Hyperoptic. Call them and you get transferred to this dept, that dept and wait on the phone for more then half an hour to speak to someone. UPDATE: 11/02/2025. A full week has gone by where I have replied with all the information that HYPEROPTIC requested on their form to this review and guess what??? I haven't heard anything from their end. The speeds continue to be extremely poor at any given time of the day. We are paying for 1 GBPS and hardly getting at most times a tenth of the speeds. The connection drops whilst working and otherwise as well on most days. We have never ever got even half of 1 GBPS speeds. Downgrading the review to 1 star. Absolutely not professional.

"System was not properly installed"

System was not properly installed and their solution was for me to go to the shop and buy what I need. What kind of support or service is that? I asked whether they could send me what I need in the post or if an engineer could attend.. “No - they work in teams of 2 so it’s too expensive for something so small”. Great service there! Spend the bit extra and go with a company that actually wants to help you!

UPDATE:
Was later contacted by an activation person asking if I needed help, I explained what happened and they were apologetic. However, the service was already cancelled the day before.
Their customer services team reached out on email and denied everything that occurred, and radio silence since! Don’t trust a word of their replies..
