"DISAPPOINTED"

1. Order was supposed to arrive by January 10th, 2021, but was delayed without satisfactory explanation. Contacted Personal Comfort several times, and was given different explanations of actual schedule for delivery. Shipment, with installers arrived in February of 2021.
2. However, mattress cover and one set of sheets were received on separate days, prior to delivery of bed, without advance notification. Had ordered two sets of sheets, and since no packing slip was included in these shipments, I was unaware as to why they arrived independent of the bed.
Second set of sheets did not arrive with the bed, and I contacted Personal Comfort. I was advised you were out of stock on the color I had ordered. I was advised only white was available, and I agreed to accept white. After a few days, not having received any update on the second set delivery, I contacted Personal Comfort again, and was advised the white was also out of stock, and the only color available at this time was dark gray. I said "ok", and was advised you would send the gray sheet set. It took another ten days, or so, for this set to arrive.
3. After installation, installers did not review operation of bed, but did leave paperwork, I was able to figure out how to operate the bed. In addition, after the installers left, I found two cartons they left in alongside the bed, with a lot of hardware, not used during installation. I received no comment from the installers relating to all this material, and after contacting Personal Comfort, was advised this material most likely was not needed for the installation. There is a great deal of material in these cartons, which leaves me a bit confused as to why it would have been sent, but was unnecessary???
4. The rubber air hoses for the mattress have a foul odor that is extremely uncomfortable, and is most annoying. I contacted Personal Comfort and was advised to clean the hoses with mild dish detergent and/or softener cloths normally placed in dryer. Considering the weight of the bed, it was very difficult to access these hoses, but, with a great deal of difficulty, I was able to move the bed, and clean the hoses as recommended. NO LUCK!!! Still has the same terrible odor.
5. Your "Customer Service", although very polite and attentive whenever I contact your office, needs a great deal of training on how to follow up with a customer, to ensure the customer is satisfied and happy with your service and product(s).
6. Obviously, my wife and I are not happy at this time, and would appreciate contact from a representative of Personal Comfort to resolve the noted issues herein.

Scott and his team made the purchase and set up of the bed extremely easy. At first the bed was uncomfortable I was ready to send the bed back. I am sure this was because I had my previous bed for 20+ years and I was just use to it. After a couple of weeks I started to realize how much I loved the new bed. I got sick with Covid recently and the bed helped me so much with my breathing issues, so glad I made the purchase! I will definitely recommend your product to my friends.

We have searched for the right mattress high and low and have gone through 3 over the last 7 years. My wife and I have some back issues and until we found the Personal Comfort (PC) mattress we were miserable with our selection of mattresses. This mattress has unbelievably helped our backs and in the beginning we were so skeptical whether it would live up to its cost. Now, with our PC mattress, we are resting better, our backs aren’t killing us through the night and when we wake, we feel relaxed and ready for the day. We are very - very pleased and would recommend this mattress to anyone who has being looking for a better restful nights sleep. Personal Comfort is well worth the money spent!!

"Cottage mattress for anyone and everyone."

I ordered the mattress as a replacement for our cottage. Easy to assemble and works with anyone that stays.

"There is a loud noise when raising and lowering the head"

We are very satisfied with the comfort of the mattress, however, there is a loud noise when raising and lowering the head (we have an adjustable base). A representative from Personal Comfort called to ask how we like the bed. I told her about the noise and she said she would pass it on, but I have not heard anything back from anyone.

I chose personal Comfort because or their ability to be upgraded or for part of the bed to be replaced without replacing the entire mattress. Our previous bed was a memory foam mattress but after a few years it had deep depressions that made it uncomfortable. We decided not to get the memory foam because of our previous experience with memory foam. When we received our bed it was OK but I thought it could be better. Personal Comfort recommended that we add a memory foam layer. Now we’re completely Happy with the bed and I’m happy that if the memory foam wears out I can replace just that layer and not the whole bed!!

"Update, zipper problem customer error."

I purchased a comfort bed which seems like it will be very comfortable when i get it together. The bed came and setting it up was very easy,i did have a problem getting the zippers on the bottom layer together. The zippers are hard to connect i mean it took me an hour or more. Then the top covers zippers are missing. I have contacted personal comfort customer support and they have been amazing on helping me get this issue resolved. Once the replacement parts arrive and i have a week or so to actually give a sleep on the mattress I will update this review.
Update:
Well the zipper problem was my fault i had the cover upside down. I would recommend pc to update the instruction video to show that portion of the install.
I have sleep on the bed it feels like a air mattress, however, we upgraded with the gel infused topper and it makes a world of difference I havent been this comfortable on a bed before also i can change the hardness/softness to my choosing. My wife and i are very happy with this purchase, also did i mention customer service is in my opinion the best ive ever experienced!

The bed is F’ing awesome. To the average person a bed showing up at their door in several boxes needing assembly, it could be very intimidating. I had to watch a YouTube video on how to put it together, the instructions were a joke at best. But after building the bed it was a very beautiful thing.
