After dealing with standup wireless scam of bait and switch and not porting my number over after a week, I went with truconnect. the sims card arrived in a week and that day an agent helped to port my current phone number over! It took her ten minutes not over a week! Standup was always asking me to top up and so does truconnect. So, I'm just going with the flow to see how well truconnect connects in the mountains. A few weeks ago before changing my service I noticed I had no cell usage with Standup in the woods/county. Never happened before; what if I needed GPS?
Everything is expensive. As a senior on a budget I need this. peace out.

I have been with true connect for quite some time. I have switched to others but they by far are nowhere near the excellent customer service that I get with true connect. One company lied to me and said I could keep my same phone number which was a phone number through Tru connect. However, they lied to me and I was unable to keep my phone number. I canceled that service and immediately went back to true connect! I will never switch again. Tru connect has always been very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable on their product and service! I recently lost my phone Tru connect helped me get a new phone free. Although I did upgrade and buy the Motorola. I'm very pleased with TruConnect and will remain a customer for as long as the program lasts or even longer. Thank you Tru Connect for providing excellent service and outstanding customer service! TruConnect account application with Lifeline is straight foreword and simple. The sim card and instruction documents arrived as promised.
But the TruConnect web site need some improvements.

I enjoy how easy it is signing up and getting setup with a new device within minutes. The service is great! It includes talk, text, and data.
