"TL;DR: Avoid this service if you value your money."

I had a few Amazon products I wanted to ship to Germany and decided to use MyUS for that (spoiler alert: big mistake).

The shipping was fast—I'll give them that. However, I paid for both the shipping and customs/taxes fees, which meant MyUS was supposed to handle the customs payments. But when my package arrived, I received a message from DHL instructing me to pay the customs fees. Surprised, I reached out to MyUS. They told me to pay the fees and promised to reimburse me. Since I needed my package ASAP, I agreed.

It's been two weeks now. I contacted them via WhatsApp—initially, their customer service was responsive, but now they're very slow. Coincidence? I don't think so. I've also emailed them multiple times, and the response is always the same: "We'll escalate the issue to our experts and get back to you." They never do.

Another issue: I canceled my membership because I wasn't about to pay $9.99 each month for nothing. But to cancel my membership, I had to delete my entire account. What kind of scheme is that? I canceled it anyway because they won't be getting anything more from me.

I don't know if canceling my account means I won't be able to get my money back, but at this point, I don't care anymore.​
