"lost my package, won't compensate me"

Usually things go well, I've been a customer for years. But recently I shipped a package worth $244 and they lost it. I have a photo from the delivery driver but MYUS never received it and won't reimburse me. So it works until it doesn't and then they prioritize their own greed over doing what's right to retain a customer.

Everything was good. However I prefer DHL not FedEx as their coordination efforts were not the greatest.

"Because surprise billing is apparently a business model now"

Care of MyUS.com's TruePrice™ Guaranteed Pricing, thought I was paying one price for shipping.

They waited until the package was sent, then magically doubled the cost—because who doesn’t love surprise charges? No warning. No consent. Just a lovely invoice buried behind a login after it was too late to do anything.

Raised a complaint? They brushed it off like I was the problem.

Had to go through PayPal to get refunded, because apparently basic transparency is too much to ask.

If you enjoy being gaslit by a shipping company, you’ll love MyUS.

Otherwise? Run. Use literally anyone else.

[Edit] after receiving below response from MyUS.com, I will not be reaching out again to MyUS Support as this was done initially the day after shipment and carried on in back and forth email conversation over two weeks getting nowhere.

"They damage product, edited photos, and shifted blame "

So I made a few purchases, from feb to april at almost $1000aud
No issues UNTIL my recent order arrived.
With a big box cutter blade slice down the front.
I went through the packing pictures they provided and noticed some editing had been done.
They damaged my cup and then edited the pic to cover themselves.
I’ve made contact only to be told it wasn’t them it must have been customs… they forgot that they are the ones that opened the package and DIDNT RE TAPE it. So even if customs did open my package they didn’t open that box because IT WAS ALREADY OPENED.
Proof is no double taped box, no damage to the box from them removing tape and putting new tape on.
Oh and the picture they provided shows the y in Stanley cropped and the green line is pixelated differently. I’m beyond enraged and disheartened how can a company lie like that. Upon further investigation there are multiple reviews of people having the same issue of their packages being sliced open by myus to check the product and damaging the produce and then claiming “ you did not purchase enhanced liability”… that should cover shipping damages not staff negligence and then a cover up. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

"Somehow they managed to exceed my lowest expectations"

I stopped using this service last year due to numerous issues (hidden fees, poor communication, item damage, etc), instead opting for a better forwarder (which will remain undisclosed for reasons of objectivity).

Well, I recently decided to give them another shot, since I had a single shipment I needed to pass through, a simple enough task one would think. Well, not for these people.

The parcel arrived at their warehouse today, and before I had the chance to do anything (even declare the shipment value) it had been processed. So now I have an uninsured parcel worth $200 declared as $40 on the way, with nothing I can do about it. Effectively, the parcel's been taken hostage, and it appears the Swedish government will now be fleeced out of tax revenue.

Additionally, they charged me taxes and import duties, even though DHL also clearly intends to collect them as part of normal import procedures.

All in all, an unbelievably poor experience.

"These people suck"

No one answers the phone. No one can help me. These people are sitting on a package of mine for over a month. They finally told me that they couldn't ship it. I arranged to have it picked up and returned. Sent them the required paperwork and instructions, nothing happened. Now I'm being charged rent. These people suck.

"There are two packages (ID 03-567-7379…"

There are two packages (ID 03-567-7379 & ID 03-599-4820) in the suite dated March 14, 2025, that I am unable to arrange for shipment as of April 15, 2025. Each time I contact MyUs, their response is that 'my matter has been escalated.' This item was purchased and shipped through DHL a few months ago, so what seems to be the problem?

"Communication is Key"

Previously, MyUs would make it known when there is a delay in logging packages in suites. This did not occur with my last shipment, and you can imagine that one might be nervous about their package being delivered to the wrong address.
