"Over 50% of chargers in NW3 are out of…"

Over 50% of chargers in NW3 are out of order. Where I live all of the 6 chargers have been out of order for over two weeks.

Only 2 out of 7 local chargers are functioning. There is nothing to indicate whether a lamp post charger is usable or not, which makes the experience even worse.

Although they are slow to fix out-of-order chargers, they recently did fix the ones in my area, and they are the cheapest network, which is a big plus.

"Useless"

Tried four of their chargers in SE24 in London today. None was working! This is usually the case with their chargers. Makes you wonder why they bother. Ubitricity now owned by Shell but there has been no improvement.

"The most incredibly frustrating…"

The most incredibly frustrating experience I have had with any provider of anything. They seem to have nicked all the lamppost charging points but don't seem interested in maintaining them.

I feel sorry for the people at the call centre (which is clearly subcontracted out) because I take my frustration out on them but they are clearly reading from a script and cannot help other than say they are sorry for the inconvenience.

Just get the system up and running and make sure it works. When it does work, its brilliant but when it doesn't work its incredibly frustrating. The most infuriating part is there is no consistency. One minute it works fine, 2 days later it doesn't. You can tick a button to save your details yet it then ask for all the details again 2 days later and sometimes it emails you to say it hasn't worked and others you have to wait till you jump in the car to take the kids to school to find out nothing has happened!

Sort it out please, it cannot be that difficult, especially with Shell behind you.

"Really hopeless"

Really hopeless. We had two charge points out of order with no light showing for weeks. Now we have a third charge point showing blue availability but not functioning. Absolutely terrible. The brand Ubitricity is being thrown to the dogs. What a shame. I tried feedback twice now and no answer. Your parent Shell should be informed of how bad you are

"Reliable Resource"

Very efficient and easy access to several local lamppost chargers. Cost on a PAYG basis very reasonable. Makes owning an EV in London seamless (especially during a petrol/diesel famine!)

"Failed to charge AGAIN"

Second time trying to charge overnight, was told on website everything was working, light turned green and once again turned up in the morning without any charge! What a disastrous company

"Shell need to pay attention"

If you have an electric car , a charger is like a utility like water or gas . I don't believe that a utility company would leave you without a service or any communication for a month.
Would Shell think it was ok if a petrol station had no supplies for a month ?

"Unfair policy"

The lamppost charging is fine but you cannot suspend your membership. I sold my Electric car, not sure when I will get another. They told me my SmartCable (which I paid over £400 for) would be deactivated so it could never be used with Ubitricity again. So my only alternative was to continue paying a monthly fee for a service I don't currently need.
