"Elektor is not shipping to UK and Ireland"

I ordered a kit from Elektor in January 2021, and received an email saying it had been dispatched on 11th January. On 18th January I received an email inviting me to review my experience with Elektor. I had not received the kit.

I followed the tracking detail in the email of 11th January and found that the parcel had been returned to sender. I emailed Elektor and was told that no orders are being sent to the UK and it would be delayed indefinitely.

Searching the Elektor website I found that UK and Ireland orders had been stopped on 21.12.20. This information was on the coronavirus page, even though it can have nothing to do with coronavirus.

The order is completely absent from my account. I have been given the option of cancelling.

I was never told that Elektor was not shipping to the UK when I made my order. I would not have made it had I been told. I am very disappointed.
