"Great personal service, good products"
I ordered a print book as a gift for my dad who loves Elektor stuff (he tinkers a lot with electronics and circuitry). The book was originally going to take a few weeks to ship. But, because of COVID-19, I got an email saying they couldn't even ship the product due to international mailing restrictions (understandable).
They asked if I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund or wait until mail services resumed. I opted to wait, because my dad really wanted this book.
Months later, I got an email saying they were finally able to ship the book, and soon it arrived.
Frankly, I'm surprised at how attentive Elektor is to each of their customers and that they didn't lose track of my order over all those months of waiting during lockdown. I could tell their emails were personally written (not auto generated), and their responses were always quick and very friendly.
I wish their tangible products were more readily available internationally. I also wish there were faster international shipping options. But otherwise, I appreciate the service. Thanks! (My dad is really happy :) )

Elektor boek gekocht. Geen verwijzing naar kit. Twee weken later wordt boek(€34,95) en kit(€29,95) alleen als bundel verkocht en moet het boek opnieuw gekocht worden.
Dankzij Trustpilot is mijn vraag serieus beantwoord. Ik voelde me als de klant bij Little Brittain, die het standaard antwoord krijgt “computer says no”. Escalatie is vooral vervelend als je jaren met plezier het magazine gelezen hebt en zeer tevreden bent over de afhandeling van de webshop en de kwaliteit van de producten. Suggesties: biedt een escalatiepad aan en geef waarschuwing bij (e-)boek, dat de kit alleen als bundel te verkrijgen is.

"Aucun souci, mais pas de nouvelles de la commande jusqu'à réception"
Aucun souci, reçu mon article en deux semaines et 2-3 jours (avril 2020).
Le seul point à améliorer serait la communication : pas de nouvelle de l'avancée du colis de la part d'Elektor sur la page "Commandes", ni de numéro de suivi.
Deux semaines après je reçois un mail de La Poste m'annonçant que mon colis sera livré bientôt, et dans le mail je m'aperçois que le colis dispose bien d'un numéro de suivi mis à jour fréquemment depuis le début! Dommage qu'Elektor ne communique pas de ce côté là, c'est toujours rassurant d'avoir le statut de la commande (en attente d'expédition, expédié...) et le n° de suivi.

Sceptical at first, but because of the good prices I gave it a go. Quick (few days) delivery and all the items seem not broken etc.

"Avoid this company at all costs"
I had a real nightmare with this company. Firstly, I bought and paid for something (an Axidraw pen plotter) online and was then informed it wasn't in stock. It was marked as in stock when I bought it.. OK, not a great start, but I wasn't in a hurry so I said I'd wait until they were back in stock.
Fast forward six weeks later and I'm still being told they don't know when they'll get stock in and the Coronavirus epidemic is now being blamed for the delay. The product was being shipped from the USA - I emailed and spoke to the manufacturer directly who assured me that it went nowhere near China on the way to Europe.
When I eventually decided enough was enough (this was after nearly two months of Elektor having my money) and asked for a refund they couldn't even manage that within the required 14 days. It was only when I got my bank to intervene and recover the money that the refund appeared in my account almost immediately.
So after two months of promises not being kept and ultimately having to get my bank involved I am back to where I started. A total waste of time.
In summary please avoid this company at all costs. They shouldn't be trading.

Waardeloos bedrijf. Service is elk jaar slechter. Ben Goldmember.
Nog geen print uitgave jan/feb 2020. Geen DVD 2019. Geen korting als je Siglent SDG2042X à €559,- wilt kopen. Reageren niet op mail,telefonisch niet te bereiken. Lange levertijden als überhaupt wat krijgt.Geen enkel voordeel Goldmembership. Dit is mijn laatste jaar.
