Our guide was Hossam aka Bruno mars and he was fantastic! Very personable and friendly. He made the Nile river cruise portion of our trip memorable. He treated our group like his long lost friends and always included our son making sure he was having a good time too.

"Best of the Best"

My friend and I have just returned from an 8-day/7-night Nile Cruise with this fantastic company. This review needs to be covered in two parts: a first section dealing with the cruise itself, and a second one that deals specifically with our guide. From the get-go, this outfit really delivered! From our Luxor hotel pick-up to our arrival on the ship ALYSSA, efficiency was the name of the game. Well-organized and with great attention to detail, the crew was helpful and very alert to our needs. Our waiter, Hassan, was always there for us at mealtime. His French earned him bonus points with me. The trip from Luxor to Abu Simbel ran smoothly with both the ship and the air-conditioned vehicles running flawlessly. As if all of that were not enough, my friend and I were stunned to learn that a guide had been assigned specifically for the two of us.
Mamoud Gamal began to impress us with his meticulous planning as soon as he appeared on our hotel doorstep. No time lost or wasted here! We toured all the major temples of the Nile Valley with him and we were totally impressed with his knowledge and acumen. Importantly for us, his explanations were concise and easy to grasp. And even more importantly, he granted us a lot of time for photography. Mamoud was a gem from start to finish. Professional, and very aware of our needs, he would guide us effortlessly, keeping annoying vendors at bay. We were extremely lucky to get him as a guide. We recommend him highly. This will be a vacation to be remembered! Hats off to Egypt Tours Portal and Mamoud Gamal!!

Luxor in 2 days thanks to the team at egypt portal travel for providing my guide Ghada and the 2 drivers with the same name Hussein
Wonderful time seeing these amazing temples x3 and the valley of the kings is absolutely a bucket list moment.
Although the heat was extreme Ghada and Hussein made OT a pleasureable time water at the ready

Drinks in the shade, and the most delicious local cuisine for lunch

"Amazing day in Luxor"

We recently enjoyed a day trip to the amazing city of Luxor. It took 5 hours to drive there but it was very interesting going up into the mountains & then arriving in the beautiful Nile valley. Ahmed was an excellent driver. We were joined by our guide, Samar Nagi, in Luxor and visited the valley of the Kings and the temple in Karnak. Samar was full of enthusiasm for the city that is her home and very knowledgeable. She told us many interesting facts and stories which made the whole trip come alive - even though it was 43 degrees! Her English was excellent. Egypt Tours were very professional in their organisation of the day and we thoroughly recommend them, Samar & Ahmed.
