Battery ordered just before Christmas, I thought it would come after the holiday, but they must have packed and shipped it the same afternoon as it came in 36 hours. Fitted to laptop for 2 weeks now, no problems at all. Laptop battery life has gone from 10 minutes to several hours. A new lease of life for an old laptop.

The old battery on my Dell Inspiron latop was dying on Sunday night/Monday morning this week (11th Dec 2023) - lasting 20 seconds without AC power. BatteryInfoView app (a great free Windows utility - by NirSoft) showed 3.2% battery health!. About right I think.

I ordered a new battery from BatteryEmpire online from their website the same morning at 1am. The battery arrived by DHL yesterday (Tuesday) morning - less than 36 hours after ordering - amazing service!

I installed the battery myself (inside the case - lots of screws to remove and replace later) - with some advice from a Youtube video.

I charged it up and this 3400mah battery is currently showing 3450mah in the BatteryInfoView app, and 100% battery health - can't want more than that for a new battery.

I suspect that the long term battery health will be affected by fully charging and discharging a few times at least initially (rather than keeping the laptop always plugged in) - so I'll try to do that (doesn't come naturally after working with an old battery that was contantly dying).
