"Just terrible"

Just terrible - what on earth were Equiniti doing handing the remnants of the LBG ISA to this shower? I'm not in the habit of leaving bad reviews but this is so poor I feel I have to. The platform is dire - although marginally less bad than the previous one. There are clearly insufficient staff handling customer care - I don't envy the ones who are trying to stay polite and professional despite having to handle the frustration of people liked myself who had spent almost 40mins (twice) on the phone trying to close my account - must be a truly horrible job.

Cheap... But you have to accept the worst service/incompetence/worst website... I don't even know why you would revamp the website.... Surely everyone would like a flashy app? Only useful if you have a no frills approach to investing and you know your stuff..

I think I must be no 1 complainer! Consistently unable to answer basic questions which I always need to escalate to the complaints team!

I have had to chase them over 4-5 times for a relatively basic question! Still don't have an answer! They are still struggling with what fund I am referring to!

"This is a bad platform for trading"

This is a bad platform for trading, displays prices incorrectly and the client service is the worst I have ever seen on similar platforms - you wait 60 minutes to get them on the call and the person that speaks with you is not prepared to discuss anything, they need to go to 'the manager' to ask the question, APPALING client experience! I want to close my account but still struggling to get my money out. Do not recommend to my worst enemy!

"Worst ever experience."

Worst ever experience.
I told them I was closing the account (having waited ages to get through) and instead of receiving my money - over a thousand pounds in time for Christmas - I received a cheque for less than £90. I have no idea why.
I hung on for 32 minutes today as not unreasonably I want my money - before having to give up.
I have no idea of how to get hold of MY money.
I want to actually speak to someone.

"THE WORST COMPANY/PLATFORM EVER"

Where to begin with Britain's worst excuse of a company.

The trading platform is at best hopeless. I presume it was written by a 6 year old who has nil experience of a trading platform. It logs you out after 20 minutes of inactivity! Yes a trading platform that logs you out after 20 minutes!! What a joke. In the great days before it was taken over by joke company Equiniti, you had the option to choose log out time to up to 4 hours. Not anymore with these comedians.
Problems? Don't try and contact customer service, it doesn't seem to exist. They do however seem to appear on here trying to pretend they care. They constantly trouble you to update details and then appear to ignore the details you have posted off to them, requiring you to repeat the process. All the while they request new details, they block you withdrawing funds from your account. But don't take my word for this joke, shambolic, useless excuse of a company. Just google 'Selftrade reviews' for a laugh. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

"Worst Service I've encountered"

Worst Service I've encountered. My shares were transferred into this Company from Santander Share Dealing. Very poor service, wasted over an hour today on the phone waiting to speak to their advice team. No response despite the message reassuringly explaining there is a 20 minute wait time!

"Poor Service Level"

I have been trying to contact Selftrade for 3 days now. I tried the new and improved customer service desk to be told that the wait due to high call volume (not lack of advisers) is 50 mins and that I should use the existing client secure messaging service. Have done so twice now but have not had a response, so have tried the general enquiry email address today to see if this will work. I appreciate it is Christmas but I wish to withdraw funds and cannot due this without speaking to Selftrade.

Am I being unreasonable to expect calls to be answered within 10 mins and e mails to have a same day response?

I do not think so I will make a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman and the FCA.
