I have a tripod that is around 4 years old and generally am very happy with it - it is well made, lightweight and easy to use. Recently a small part in the central stem broke, leaving me unable to lock the stem in place. I contacted Vanguard help desk who very quickly offered to supply a repair part, which arrived a couple of days later and fixed the problem perfectly, all free of charge.

Awesome! The customer support is beyond expectations- I have mailed in with questions about extra quick release plates and even how to fit larger spiked feet on to my tripod - all questions answered with detail and links to go.
