"Global industries would not return my purchase"

Global industries did not send a return label. I repeatedly emailed them asking for return label and they claimed to have one attached but did not send an attachment.

I should have read reviews prior to making a purchase from this company. I purchased a bike rack for our condo association. The bike rack was light and needed to be anchored. I had purchased anchors; however, there were no instructions for installation. I called customer service, was disconnected three times. When I was finally connected, the representative informed me that they sell many items and do not have anyone that is knowledgeable about specific products. I was then told that someone would call me within 72 hours. Unacceptable when you have everything laying out in your back yard and your time is limited. Furthermore, it would cost over $100.00 to return the item. NOT GOOD!

"Frustrated customer"

I ordered four of an item that it turned out I only needed 3. But there is no phone number on the invoice, no phone number on the website, and the website was almost impossible to load. It kept telling me link was broken. When I finally got on their site it bragged about being a worldwide leader but customer service could not be found.

"Stay away from this company"

Stay away from this company. Customer service is horrible! Took over 4 months to finally get reimbursed. Sent over 14 emails to this company!!! I'm not sure how they are still in business.

"No Urgency!"

I've been purchasing from Global Industrial for a couple years but lately their customer service is in the dumps. Many times you're speaking to someone that English is a second language so their is a communication breakdown. And, then you wait for days to have an issue resolved. Two orders is a row were wrong. First one I was shorted 100/ea of an item, and the second one I was shipped the wrong item. Customer service is poor, and communication is lacking. It's time to move on to another provider.

their return process is very hassle and they make you pay for shipping both ways regardless of the return reason, and you get your money back after doing many follow ups and investigations, so very unrecommended.

"Zero communication and customer care"

Ordered and received a confirmation on an item sold by Global Industrial. Confirmation indicates the item will be delivered on or before Jan 5th (I understand the Covid issue may delay delivery). I called on the 7th as for the status of the delivery since I never received a tracking number. Spoke to “Angela” and she said the item was shipped and will call the warehouse for tracking info. She came back and said they are looking into it, and she will call with their findings.
I haven’t heard back so I called late
morning of the 8th and was now told the order was canceled. Wow! First it’s shipped, now it’s canceled. Not one phone call or E-mail prior to my inquiry of the delivery status letting me know that they canceled it! Obviously this company is so big that this customer treatment is insignificant. I guess there are plenty of fulfilled orders that this “cancel and screw’em” attitude is just a drop in the bucket.

"Horrible customer service"

Horrible customer service. I called to report a damaged part was delivered on 4th Jan 2021. Explained to the agent on the phone what was going on and she kept talking on top of what I was saying, constantly harassing stating that the part came without damage and that I have to send a proof of the damaged for the replacement. She didn't trust my words. It was HORRIBLE! I would never buy again from GI

"Put you on hold with no intention of helping"

Ordered metal cabinets that came in defective. Called several times and the complaint was never recorded. Called again and explained the reason for my call again and the girl said ok...and preceeded to place me on hold with no intention of coming back to the line. That way I couldn't report her for her actions or take the review at the end of the call. I called the line again with another phone while still on hold and someone else picked up and gave me a report on the order. I have yet to see how this will fully end. I dont have a good feeling working with a company who allows that kind of behavior out of their employees...
