I've tried really hard to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. I really want to support this small, independent skate shop but they just don't stand up to the competition and seem to lack the necessary infrastructure to be able to handle online orders and enquiries within a timely and acceptable manner.
I ordered a load of Scum gear recently, two hoodies in medium, some joggers in medium and a beanie.
What arrived was two XXL hoodies that were labeled as medium. The medium joggers were the same size, maybe smaller, than the large joggers I ordered at Christmas time (that order had lots of things out of stock that were allegedly in stock and some items were sent as replacements that were not the same but that's a whole different issue).
The sizing had clearly been printed wrong.
I raised this with customer service and got a response 24 hours later. They did concede to there being an issue and agreed to arrange a return for me. A return label was sent to me which required me to print it out.
I mistakenly believed that the post office would be able to print the label for me but they couldn't without a QR code. Entirely my own mistake, I hadn't read the label clearly.
I raised this with customer service who said they couldn't provide a QR code and as the 7 day deadline on the return label had passed they would not provide a new label.
At this point I'd like to point out that No Chaos (a business who specialise in online sales) give themselves a massive 5-10 working day buffer to send out your order. You as a customer with a job, a life and other responsibilities only get 7 days to send your return. Make that make sense.
Their customer service have now said I have to send the items back myself and I can then claim up to £3.50 back for postage providing I can produce a receipt.
I've got no choice but to do it this way now but this is not a great customer experience.
I received poor quality, badly sized products and now I have to deal with hassle of fixing their mistake.
Honestly, my advice at the moment is to give these guys a swerve. I can list a dozen other independent skate brands/shops that provide better quality products with much more professional (and efficient!) customer service.
I like Scum and No Chaos and have a lot of their merch but will be avoiding them going forward.
I was going to exchange the items for the correct sizes but will now just ask for a refund along with the other items I bought at the same time.
Perfectly happy to edit my review if someone comes back to me to fix this in the next 24 hours.

"no items, no refund "
my order was lost with royal mail (no fault of the sellers), when i did contact they offered to reorder the items and advised that i would get a confirmation email about this and i should ‘keep a look out’ (to me this means i will get confirmation about this shortly ?), i never did so i emailed again asking whether these items are being reordered and if they’re still in my size. when i received an email back about this i was told quite rudely it would be between 5-10 working days, like i was meant to know they have to check in with the sellers/warehouse they buy from ??? but they couldn’t tell me anything about the items and advised id have to wait a further 10 working days just to know if these items were still in my size/available (i don’t have the foggiest why this would take 10 working days but hey ho)- i had already waited 2 weeks since the initial order with only a ‘dispatched’ email. i have asked for a refund 48 hours ago and im still awaiting a response. its now been 3 weeks since i ordered my items and i have no products or my money.
it seemed so promising at the start when i had an apology and update on what was going to happen in the first email reply, after that it seems like it was all hear say and nothing actually came out of it. it seems once they reply to your first initial email, they’re not really bothered after that.
im never one for reviews, especially negative ones, but its just been a whole tedious, am i or aren’t i experience since 25/02

Quality clothing but slow dispatch time and poor communication lets them down.

Absolutely rubbish quality ordered the pink panther sweatshirt advertised as candy pink, I would say it's almost purple it's so dark and the extremely tacky iron on transfer jesus christ that looks appalling brand new it will crack or dissappear after a few washes you can just tell! Also took max of 10 days to arrive what a massive disappointment 😞

"Ordered a few items for Christmas gift"
Ordered a few items for Christmas gift. I got a bit worried over delivery. Emailed , got a reply next day from Emily to reassure me the order would arrive before Christmas, & it did.
One of the items unfortunately had a fault after only been worn for a couple of times. Emailed, Emily replied, new item in the post free of charge.
I call that outstanding customer service. My son is delighted with his items & they are excellent quality ( just unfortunate about the fault )
