Looking back on our home insurance claim (due to escape of water) which lasted over two years; the defining and pivotal moment in the process was undoubtedly our appointment of Harris Balcombe.

I was placed in an unfortunate situation where the business had suffered a fire in 2018. I was also going through a tough period in life where my Father was very ill and the business and the property were deemed a total loss.

We were approached on the morning of the fire by Harris Balcombe introducing themselves and advised us that they could help us through the process dealing with insurers ensuring we don't suffer any losses from the fire.

I was introduced to Jeremy Balcombe and I am glad that our paths crossed. Jeremy is very knowledgeable individual in this industry and his connections are unrivalled. Whilst it was a very distressing time, Jeremy was on hand to deal with the Insurers and the appointed Loss Adjustors. This saved me a lot of time and a lot of stress in a time where I had to concentrate on getting on with business as best as we could.

Jeremy secured us a 7 figure pay out which ensured we could locate a new premises, set up our plant and get back to business in a timely fashion. We were up and running from our new site within 10 months and none of this would have been possible without Jeremy and his wonderful team.

"Fire Claim"

My parents’ family business suffered a devastating fire in April 2021. Following this incident, we were introduced to Mark Burke of Harris Balcombe through Martin Gelder. Amongst the chaos and shock, coupled with what had already been an extremely difficult time due to my father’s ill health, appointing Mark to handle our case was the best decision we made.
