"No access to HELOC but a $35,000 balance"

I applied for a HELOC on 3/1. On 4/8, they listed themselves as a mortgagee on my insurance, over a month before they approved me. I finally closed on 5/24. Despite many promises from many people, I have NO access to my funds, but I do have a $35,000 balance with interest accruing. I fear something nefarious is going on at Bethpage.

James Chimento IS YOUR GUY! I walked into this credit union in 2013 at 19 years old. Getting married and needed a personal loan for the flowers. NEEDLESS TO SAY, they approved me. A year later my wife was pregnant and we started looking for a home. I walked back into Bethpage FCU and met with James Chimento about a mortgage. IN NO TIME AT ALL my first home mortgage was funded!.. NOW 2020 COMES and during the pandemic, BFCU provided me assistance on my mortgage so I could put some payments on the back end of the loan and keep a little more money in my pocket ... when I certainly needed it! (THANK YOU FOR A THIRD TIME!) My daughter is born in Dec of 2020 and my income resumed to normal at the start of this year. I went back to James Chimento again in May of 2021... My wife's grandfather had built a home in upstate NY, in the Catskills. He sold it to another family later on. HE BUILT THIS HOUSE WITH HIS OWN 2 HANDS... It was up for sale and the family selling offered it to us before putting it on the market because of its history. I explained this to James Chimento and like a SUPERHERO without the cape GOT IT DONE. To James Chimento and everyone at the corporate level with BFCU thank you for everything you have done to allow my family the amazing life we have. We COULDN'T have done it without you! (P.S) IF ANYONE IN BFCU CORPORATE SEE'S THIS REVIEW... GIVE JAMES CHIMENTO A RAISE OR A PROMOTION ASAP!
