"Read your contract carefully"
Read your contract carefully. I was told I needed to keep a loan balance of $25,000 for the first year or pay the origination fee. What they did not tell me was there is a prepayment penalty if the loan is paid off before three years from origination. I was not informed of that fact before closing. Now I am selling my home after one year into the loan, and the prepayment penalty is $2,083. They buried that clause on page 28 of an 80-page agreement for the loan. Beware, borrowers!

"Allows merchants to sell fake product with no recourse"
After trying to resolve a purchase made online that was a fake i placed a complaint with Bethpage Federal Credit Union since I used my debit card. Charges were reversed at first, but 3 months later I was charged again. Not only did they not contact me, though they claimed they did, they allowed the purchase of something that was fake. They did not follow up with me and took merchant's word for it. I learned a valuable lesson that these merchants sell garbage intentionally ship late

I went to the Roosevelt location twice yesterday.
Alicia helped me open up a new bank account and she was more than helpful. She had answers for all my questions and she was very enjoyable to be around .
When I got home, I realized I needed a certified check. They were closing in 9 minutes and the bank is a 3 minute drive from my house. I got there 4 minutes before closing and the young lady up front (I didn’t get a chance to see her name) was also very helpful and charismatic.
Both of them made my overall experience amazing, 5 stars.
