I was forced to replace my Digistat+3 with a new model. I am so pleased I have because the new version is so very much better.
But more than that, I had a minor issue, my fault, not Drayton's, and the service was amazing. I had a reply to my email the same day and the experts kept in touch until my problem was solved.
I really am so impressed with the service I received.

Update: As per their reply below, I emailed their customer service but they haven't responded, so behind their nicey nicey public image is a culture of ignoring customers whose devices they've rendered useless.
"British Built to Last" is what Drayton put on their products and on the support page of their MiGenie user manual, but my smart thermostat only lasted until the company decided, with no warning, to deactivate their app/online service so my modern and expensive smart product worked with the limited capability of the pre-internet age device it replaced, leaving me having to shop for a new product again entirely at my own expense.

Having used Drayton products over the years I have always found them to be simple to use but mainly to be very reliable, I had a small query about a central heating timer unit so got in touch with Drayton customer services, I was quite surprised to get an answer so quickly, and the information given was just what I needed and solved my non problem. Many thanks to the C S team and also Drayton for the excellent products they make.

The wiser app works very well but the technical support offered by this company is without parallel. Today I rang them because a radiator thermostat wasn't working. I got straight through to the technical department and the issue was fixed within a few minutes. Were this the first time it might not merit my unalloyed praise but on the occasions that I have called for advice and help I have received it within minutes. Well done Wiser.

I have been using your excellent product for a good number of years and during this time I have had occasions to contact your customer support. On each occasion- including the most recent- I have been most impressed by the high standard of support and technical assistance. My recent contact with John maintained this high standard, when he displayed a high degree of patience and expertise in dealing with my problem. John is a credit to and an example of the Wiser brand. Although Ashley initially dealt with my query the line was interrupted and when I called back it was John I got and who dealt with my problem.

Great customer service from Michael, needed a little help setting up the schedules. I've always found all the staff at Wiser so helpful. I bought my wiser 1 kit and a smart plug direct from Wiser to get the 2 year guarantee. Love it, it makes life so easy keeping the house warm when your away. Would highly recommend.

Gemma reply to my question on delta t was as follows: -
Its because to find the delta T you need to find the different between the flow and the return, not the ambient.
For example if the difference is 10 degrees between this would be a delta T of 1, 20 degrees between would be a delta T of 2 ect. I will pop the calculator below
