"Awful post sales support and abysmal customer service"

Bought an MG ZS EV earlier this year from Redditch branch and post sales repairs not carried out. Warranty request unable to be scheduled for two months so went to alternative dealer. Emailed complaint but no response. Third chance was a service/mot and was quoted £135+£48. When booking came through service was £280 plus mot. Asked for manager and no call back. Will not go back again.

I’ve just recently purchased I’ve Volvo cx40 cannot forward the company at the moment The salesman Sam Martin was excellent in every way he even explained he was new to the company but he made me feel real comfortable in purchasing a car. He could answer all my questions and didn’t make me feel pressured in any way of buying the car. I can’t express if I’ve had difficulty in anything because every question I asked him he could answer and he sorted everything I need doing, I will 100% recommendation

Absolutely disgusted with Paul Rigby Volvo dealership!!! Purchased an XC90 R Design 2019 from an independent dealer in Bolton. It had full volvo service history and had just had £1000 service with timing belt change full mot etc with Volvo Bolton. Had a slight hick up my washer wiper water seemed to be blocked. After I'd only driven for a week. Dealer agreed to pay to have it fixed....
Great booked in at Paul Rigby £162 fixed....BUT imagine my shock when service man Callum advised me of two things wrong with the vehicle and stated 'it would fail an mot on both??? Imagine my shock it had passed weeks before.
Lower arm ball joints on the suspension quoted excessive play £927.36 and exhaust leaking??? no quote but he said would need welding. Stated the car wasn't road worthy when I explained I had horses and towed.

Volvo Bolton shocked at this so was dealer who sold me car, when i advised them. I booked an unambiguous check of the vehicle with a volvo specialist. Guest What!!!
NOTHING wrong with ball joint and bolt slightly lose on exhaust bracket just needed tightening???!!!

I AM SO CROSS! JUST TRYING TO UPSELL BECAUSE I AM A WOMAN WHO DOESN'T KNOW BETTER.... SHAME ON YOU PAUL RIGBY.... I TRUSED YOU BUT YOU TRIED TO RIP OFF THE WRONG PERSON.....DISGUSTING!

Changed four tires (£700) only after one month of purchasing the car.
Brake pads need changing after 8,000 mileage (£200). They refused to take responsibility for the cost and blame it on the way the car was driven. Sunroof was juddering brought it in twice to repair but was not fixed. They have asked me to book it again for the third time as if we got nothing better to do. I asked Oscar do they not check what they try to fix before calling the customer? I had to check over their jobs and call them out and point it out it wasn't done! This vehicle has cause me problems after problems and the dealership refusing to take responsibility!!

I hate changing cars with a passion. It was only because my dearly loved 20 year old S60 failed beyond economic repair, that I was forced into looking for another. Having mentally prepared myself for the inevitable car salesman's attempts to sell me the most expensive car on the lot, I visited Paul Rigby Stourbridge. There I was approached by Ollie Rooney who said very little. Instead he listened carefully to my very specific requirements (including vehicle length) and then ruled out vast numbers of cars, finally offering 2 which would do the job. He then facilitated an unhurried test drive of my selection, which included a visit home to ensure it would actually fit in the garage. Upon my return he introduced me to Sam Martin who ran through some of the regulated products. They both handled my final purchase of the car superbly, and perhaps the highest compliment I can pay them is to say that they are NOT salesmen. They are highly competent guides who merely assist you in making the choice that is right for you.

Thank you Paul RIGBY Volvo..... I have bought two cars from this Dealership and I will definitely go back to them again. The 1st was about 2019 and I have just bought from them again 25th Aug 2024. Big thanks to Damian for helping me out and putting up with my SFQs..... and we love the car !!!!
