"Every Volvo pulling to the left"

Every Volvo pulling to the left - according to sale director Andy Kirkham.- shocking
Worse dealership I have ever dealt with. All they want is your money .
While we were driving through Europe (LH drive) My Volvo V90 CC was pulling to the left which could have resulted in collision with vehicles coming from opposite direction (Safety Critical) putting my family and my own life at risk.
Reported issues with the vehicle from very first day they could not care less ,all you can hear are lies.
Paul Rigby Volvo Stourbridge had my car for almost two weeks for investigation and repairs .They have returned faulty vehicle saying its nothing wrong and there is no issues with the vehicle .
- Pulling to the left while driving straight
-Starring wheel offset to the left while driving vehicle
-Pre sale 150 points inspection list - doesn't matching condition of the vehicle
I took the car into independent garage and it took them 2 hrs to fix the issues, now the car is very stable on the road , steering wheel straight and stiff, vehicle is not pulling to the left or right, it does go perfectly in the straight line. I was embarrassed as mechanics did laugh when I mentioned that UK Volvo representatives said that every Volvo pulls to the left and that there is nothing wrong. I was told that the car was even taken to the main Birmingham dealership where "master" mechanic had a look and they found nothing wrong.

"I found Sam Read to be very personable."

I found Sam Read, my appointed sales person, to be very personable and easy to do business with. He found me a car to suit my needs and explained the finer points of the finance package chosen in detail. On my pick up day Sam helped me with taxation and drive away insurance, for which I was grateful.

"Excellent service"

Excellent service, have used this dealership for two Volvos over the last ten years. Always received good service. Even when we were 250 miles away in Cornwall had a slight problem, dealership in Truro no help whatsoever. Called the Stourbridge garage and was given advice and advised to take the car in as soon as we returned home. Thanks to Katy and all the team.

"Just purchased another Volvo !"

Just purchased another Volvo !
Sam and Adam were so helpful and understanding .Adam was really patient and knowledgable when showing me how every thing worked on the car. Sam was very efficient,making the whole purchasing process straightforward .The ladies on the desks were lovely and friendly too,I was offered refreshments every time I went into the showroom .
I have no hesitation in recommending everyone I met at Paul Rigby Volvo in Stourbridge !

"Superb car dealership"

I recently bought a 1 year old Volvo XC40 from Paul Rigby. I live in Somerset so all initial contact was by telephone with Mohammed Miah. He was excellent and a pleasure to deal with. After my first contact he very promptly sent me a personal video of the car with his comments about its features and condition. There followed a number of other calls and emails and throughout the whole process he was friendly, helpful and professional.
We met when we collected the car and there have been one or two follow up calls when he answered a few queries I had.
I would highly recommend Paul Rigby and Mohammed Miah and I am delighted with the car.

"Avoid, if you do not fit their desired customers"

What can I say. The young lad I spoke with at the service counter wasn’t even bothered, they way he spoke down to me was actually upsetting. All I wanted is a quote for repairs on my vehicle, and got treated in a hateful way. Clearly the guy had a problem with someone of my colour. Otherwise he wouldn’t have spoken down to me, very short with anything I had asked, and he thinks I didn’t see him roll his eyes at me. Especially with his short burst of breathing, like I was wasting his time. Would not go to the branch in Erdington again.

"The best car buying experience I’ve ever had"

I have just collected my XC60 PHEV from Paul Rigby in Erdington. I originally ordered a V60 in August 2022, but in November Volvo cancelled the order. Max contacted me straight away and we talked through my options and I decided on the XC60. The car was finally delivered in July 23.

Max and the team kept me up to date, as best they could, on the progress of the car. I took my young son into the dealership one Sunday when Max wasn’t working, to show him an XC69. Even though we weren’t looking to buy anything that day, the team were amazing, offering my son and me a drink and just generally making us feel special.

The car finally arrived and I went to collect it last Monday afternoon. Again my son wanted to be there.

When we arrived at the dealer, the lady that greeted us sat us down offered us drinks and the spent the next 5 minutes engaging with my 11 year old. she seemed genuinely interested in what he had to say - it’s these small things that make all the difference to me

Max came out and again, interacted with my son, which made him feel special (my son, not Max). This just added to the positive nature of the experience.

We eventually got to the car and Max unveiled it to reveal our new XC60. The new Volvo’s are full of tech and it would have been very easy for Max just to stick to a script and show us what we needed to know, however, there were certain things that my son had read about on the car, so Max showed him those things first and then showed us the other bits - again, just a very inclusive experience

After being there a couple of hours, we eventually drove away

As regards the car itself, it is, without question, the most comfortable car I’ve ever driven and I’ve owned Jags, Audis, BMW’s over the years, as well as a Volvo V60. The car is solid, no rattles, it’s difficult to know when you’re running in pure electric or when the engine’s started, it’s that quiet. The sound from the Harmon Kardon system is fantastic, so goodness only knows what the Bowers and Wilkins is like!

I cannot recommend this team highly enough. The whole buying experience from start to finish was positive - it just felt very Volvo - not at all ostentatious, but we were made to feel like we were the most important people in the room each time that we were there.

The car will definitely be going back there for all of its ongoing service and maintenance

"Good Costumer service"

Good Costumer service - clear communication from the dealer, reference booking my car in and the time line when it would be ready to pick up.

It was a no hassle process in getting my car booked in and serviced. I've had numerous cars from other dealers BMW, Audi and Land Rover.
I have been made to sit and wait for excessive periods of time when dropping my cars off for a service but not with my Volvo.

"I bought my levc from Paul Rigby Nov…"

I bought my levc from Paul Rigby Nov 2018 Birmingham after sale service is terrible.
Very difficult to book for service. I had a issue with the vehicle on 15 May got booked on 2nd June they checked it they said need parts it is now 21 june stil waiting for parts rang them so many time.
They never rang be back today they rang me asking which parts you needed to repair they should know and book for repair on 14 July 2023 the girl on the phone was very rude and threatened me that she going to put the telephone down
I do not know whether they got parts or not

"Why no customer follow up call ?"

I purchased a Volvo XC60 a few months ago from the Stourbridge dealership; however, since that purchase, there has never been a follow-up call, email, or anything to ask how the car was performing. I suspect the reason is the confrontation I was met with when purchasing, but I am surprised that the branch never made a follow-up. Instead, it was a deal done, and move on to the next customer.
