My renewal appointment today was on the telephone, I joined the slimming clinic and it has made a big difference to my weight loss. I spoke with Lisa today and she was extremely helpful and supportive. The dietician has been immense she has helped and gave me great advice. Thank you all for your support in helping me lose 2st 4lbs

I joined slimming clinic end of may they sent me out a diabetes test and I was on the border line went to my doctors 1month later and lost 11lb so I had reversed my diabetes which I was very happy about the tablets I’m on are very good I now have only got 11lbs left to loose thanks to them all at slimming clinic

Today I done my renewal appointment over the telephone with Pauline who was very helpful she explained all the ongoing offers at present. Pauline was very polite and friendly.

"Avoid at all costs "

I was very disappointed with my experience at this slimming clinic. I initially paid a £50 deposit for a consultation, which turned out to be unprofessional—children interrupted the doctor, and the consultation had to be completed over the phone due to technical issues.

The doctor refused to prescribe the medication I requested, even though another doctor at the same clinic had prescribed it to a friend with a similar medical history. While I understand the doctor's discretion, there should be consistency in their approach. I later obtained the medication from another reputable organization that found it appropriate for me.

After this, I was offered an alternative medication that was less effective. A salesperson then pressured me into purchasing it without giving me sufficient time to research. The initial £50 consultation fee was supposed to be deducted from the cost, but I was informed at the last minute that only £35 would be deducted since I wasn't prescribed the original medication. I reluctantly made the payment, only to realize shortly after that the medication was not suitable for me, as it would force a low-fat diet, hindering nutrient absorption.

I called back within an hour to cancel the prescription and request a consultation with the doctor who had prescribed the medication to my friend. Two days later, I was informed that the doctors had discussed my case and would not prescribe the medication I wanted. Despite confirming the cancellation of the alternative medication, I received it three days later.

I attempted to contact the clinic multiple times, leaving messages that were never returned. When I finally spoke to someone, they assured me a complaint would be raised and resolved within 24 hours. After hearing nothing for three days, I called again and was told my refund request was denied. Despite explaining my situation multiple times, the complaints team continued to ignore my refund request, focusing instead on their refusal to prescribe the original medication.

After two weeks of back-and-forth, they eventually claimed refunds on prescribed medication were against their T&Cs, even though I know exceptions have been made in the past. I am still in discussions with them to obtain a refund.

In summary, avoid this clinic at all costs. Their lack of professionalism, inconsistent approach, and poor customer service have left me extremely frustrated.

Aleisha has been so helpful with finding me the best deal with regards to my medication. Also I received wonderful customer service from Pauline. The doctor was incredibly helpful and I’m really happy with my prescription. From start to finish TSC has been amazing. Can’t wait to start my meds.

I have been using the slimming clinic on and off for about 10 years. I have never ever had a problem, I used to visit them in Brighton on a treatment plan with no problems, and now everything is done over the phone they are still as prompt and helpful as they were. I find them very professional, informative & helpful and would always recommend them. I spoke with Pauline today who answered my questions and was very helpful and knowledgable.

Pauline was delightful. She was pleasant kind and caring. I felt at ease during our conversation regarding my treatment which was interupted due to other financial demands.
Pauline too time to give me all the information I needed to make my decision about my treatment and cost going forward.
I was somewhat embarrassed to call the clinic due to the fact that I needed to restart my treatment but Pauline put me at ease. Her caring personality shone through, she felt like my friend.
