Presented as a means of ticket protection but is too restrictive to serve that purpose. My partner is very ill, but the only way to get a refund is if I use up limited time with doctors.

fixr claims that event organisers will get a payout within 5 working days however it has only ever taken longer than that. For every event I have to make the effort to request the money be payout. The most recent time it is now 3 weeks after the event and have chatted to fixr to no reply. Please give me my money.
