"I went with pure legal in 2018"

I went with pure legal in 2018, spoke to a lady last year answered loads more questions, she said it was now going to court not heard anything. 3yrs is a long time. Ive give up hope.

"Shake down merchants."

Shake down merchants.

This company is the worst example of no win no fee. They will take any job, whether there really is a claim and attempt to shakedown companies for money.

Offering little to no support to their actual clients this is all about churn.

AVOID and go with a reputable firm if you have an actual claim.

Completely unethical company who report all their negative feed for Trustpilot to remove. You can see they've removed over 40 reviews in the last 12 months using the 'See a detailed overview' on the right.

Prev review: I had been talking with Nicholas Robinson who leads the team. What really annoys me is that I pocketed £25 out of my own pocket to get the terms and conditions from my mortgage provider.

I even offered a solution and not heard anything for months. I wish I never signed up with them as I wanted to cancel my agreement with them and unable to do so as they don’t respond.

Why don’t they let us know what is going on, even if nothing has happened. A quick quarterly feedback update is all that is needed. Trusted Mortgage Claims referred them and can’t do anything so please avoid them as well.

What is really annoying is they keep putting sponsored posts on Facebook seeking new clients. This is a total waste of time if they can’t help and deal with the existing clients.

I am going to report both Pure Legal and Trusted Mortgage Claims to the ombudsman as well as this is utterly unprofessional.

"My mortgage case has been passed onto…"

My mortgage case has been passed onto a third person and second office in the last few months. No communication and no progress has been made. This is absolutely unacceptable and quite frankly the most unprofessional professionals I have had to liaise with. I wrote a review some months ago and spoke of what I thought was a turning point in the management of my case which is now almost 2 years old and nowhere near being resolved.
How long is this going to go on? I’m clearly going to have to take this to the ombudsman because I am concerned that the poor management of my claim will effect the end result.

I put in a claim via trusted mortgages.
Firstly trusted mortgages werent the best of companies to get info from, they then informed me there was a case and it has been passed to Pure legal... and despite several emails I have had zero response from pure legal in almost 8 months.

Total waste of time

"Absolute joke of a legal company"

Absolute joke of a legal company

I have had pure legal involved since 2018, there has barely been any progress until we started making contact for updates. Pure legal provide poor services, I have complained about the length of time they are taking to deal with our cavity wall insulation claim. Since June 2021, I keep being told a surveyor will contact me for an appointment to inspect our property, till date no one has made contact. Everytime I chase this up, they state I need to wait an additional 2 weeks to hear from the surveyor. This has been going on since june 2021. This is the third expert report now needed due to pure legal delaying things.

Pure legal are causing my family extreme stress, updates are not provided. I have to chase them up every single time. I now have had no reponse to my emails or phone calls.

Complaint has been submitted to the Legal Ombudsman and I will also be reporting to the SRA with regards to this company's poor case handling and seriously concerning and varying responses. Each case handler has given different responses and we are still at square one not moving forward with this claim which we are tied into, I was told in December 2020 that the matter would only take a couple of months as all paperwork was completed (witness statements). We are now into August 2021 and no further progress has been made despite being told our case would be prioritised.

We cannot pull put of the claim which is stopping us from renovating to get rid of the damp. This is causing serious health implications upon my health and my family members health physically, mentally, emotionally and financially due to the constant heating on/dehumidifier use which has resulted in significant increases in our bill's. No matter how many times I explain all this to Purelegal, it is falling on deaf ears and we are going round in circles. Our quality of life has totally been ruined and pure legal have contributed to our stress levels and worsening health. Horrendous company playing with peoples lives.

I would urge all involved and sadly tied in with this company to report to the Legal Ombudsman and SRA so that a thorough investigation is undertaken regarding how this company is running and dealing with matters.

Edit, UPDATE 1.9.2021: you state below that you want to help me however I still have no progress since making my official complaints. Your complaints team are refusing to issue their response until a surveyor has visited despite my complaint raising various issues including poor communication, significant delays etc.

In addition you state that you have checked for updates on the case. Funny how you avoided stating that there have been NO updates, I am still awaiting a surveyor to contact me despite your complaints team telling me they are working on the case to have a supposedly urgent appointment arranged. Horrendous experience, totally destroying our lives with your constant lies and incompetence. You would have thought by now you will have instructed a more competent and reliable surveyor considering you supposedly instructed MLA in June 2021.

I really do hope the legal Ombudsman heavily investigate practices within pure legal.

"Predjudice company"

Predjudice company. I sent them copies of emails to and from the offending company and the ICO. They respond suggesting I write a complaint to the offen company.. I think they're not taking me seriously because I have autism as I don't see why else they haven't bothered to read the checkboxes I marked or open the files I attached to their form which were from the ICO confirming the company had broken data protection laws.

Edit: They also had the guts to 'dispute' this feedback, in which TrustPilot emailed me asking for proof that this really happened. They verified it, hence the 'verified' tick on this review :).

Edit edit: Wow check this companies response to my edit.. they seem to be trying to suggest they themselves are TrustPilot. Basically, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY IN THE SLIGHTEST.

"Stay clear £7000 bill for what!"

We took out a mortgage mis sale did not hear from anybody for a good year then last year heard from them saying there could be a claim but if we wanted to proceed to let them have some personal documents ie bank statements with how the country was last year with the pandemic we was hesitant to send such documents. We were constantly pestered to send them but we still was undisided weather to proceed after not hearing from them for a year,then last week we were issued a bill for nearly £7000 for work undertaken which I think is unjust and very under hand so if I was you think very carefully before using this company because there is no way in this current climate that any self employed person could come up with that sort of money.when a representative came to us at our home to discuss thus in 2019 he told us that you would do a search find out if there was a case IF so you would then contact us then we would be able to carry on but had no obligation to do so,he never once informed us that we did have to continue or we would be charged in the region of £ 7000 for the searches carried out .I'm sorry we never carried on but it seems if you do not proceed your bullied into doing so extremely Diss satisfied with your company
