John Craddock's Support tickets dont always support!
Take care if you have any kind of issue other than the order/delivery process. It is advisable to call them rather than communicate via their email support system (a ZenDesk software service).
A technical issue relating to the details listed for an item meant that I was sent an incompatible part.
Having, had good email support dialogue regarding my query on its delivery time, I used the 'reply' function advertised, to inform them of the technical issue once the item arrived.
From that point, communication from them ceased. Nothing for over 5 days despite two attempts.
I was forced to phone and quote all of the details to organise the return and replacement.
The phone dialogue seemed to reassure. However, as requested, I have now returned the incorrect item at my own cost with only the promise from a friendly 'Steve' that as soon as it arrives back at depot he will sort everything.
No offer to instantly dispatch the only other alternative that we quickly deduced by measurement (not included in the listings).
Instead, I must wait and hope all goes well.
I shall report further and adjust my rating depending on whether this goes well or not.
Late Aug 2023 - I was called by one of their staff, telling me that my requests couldn't be met. I indignantly referred this person to the friendlier 'Steve' who had seemed most helpful and promising earlier. The man carried on annoyingly, so I explained that I was abroad with my family on holiday, asked him once more to speak with 'Steve' and get back to me after that.
I heard no more. The correct item arrived before I returned home and there were no further charges!
So, it seems that it depends very much upon whom at JC you deal with. I trust that 'Steve' was not scorned for being so helpful on this occasion and that he should be regarded as a valuable, experienced member of their staff. Hence, Bumped from 3 TP Stars to 4.

Avoid at all costs!! I bought 9x synchro inserts for a gearbox and they had the bloody cheek to send me a packet of rusty ones that aren’t any good to man nor beast!! I haven’t bothered sending them back as the postage cost me more than the inserts did but save yourself the disappointment and certainly save your money and avoid these con artists!!!!

Extremely disappointed with the service and John Craddock. Ordered some seals on Thursday before midday to be told 4 days later (2 working day) that one of my parts is not in stock.. I have a lot of work which needs doing and to be told last minute is unacceptable. I have now decided to get my parts from LR centre as the service is so much better and cheaper! I know you have a time frame of 3-5 working days but for the amount you charge to ship orders they need to be picked, packed and sent out in a timely manor. Also the customer service isn’t the best at updating the status of your order. Unfortunately I will not be buying any more parts from this company as I now need to delay all work by another week when I had everything booked in with the garage for this Thursday.

Ordered parts, nothing turned up, chased 5 days later to be told there was no stock and no delivery date - would i like my money back ?- well I would like the 5 days back so I could keep my customer happy.
