I love how responsive the customer service team is! They typically respond to my inquiries within 24 hours and they always have a solution to my issues. They give me clear and concise answers and is happy to explain things in a way that makes sense! I am a new landlord and I hope to purchase more properties and TurboTenant makes the administrative side to this job very easy!

"They hold your deposits for a week…"
They hold your deposits for a week before it reaches your bank. They are also charging the tenants to use the payment feature. So they are double dipping. Holding your funds to earn interests before depositing it to your account a little over a week after. So you are interests earning using this "free" service.
My other 3 tenants use Venmo which is free for both LL and tenants. It's also a lot faster, usually reaches your account the next day. I will ask my current tenant to switch over to Venmo beginning of next year.
I mainly use this site to receive rent. I paid for their lease contract as a 1 time fee. But I will most likely not use this service again. They hold your funds for way too long. If Venmo can deposit next day, so can TurboTenant.

"There is better software out there"
There is better software out there, these guys are still learning and passing the buck off on the end user. They have a whole blog section of user requests for improvements they do nothing with. So you will encounter bugs and a confusing interface till they take some ownership. Great concept poor execution.

As a first-time independent landlord, I stumbled upon TurboTenant after becoming thoroughly frustrated with traditional property management companies, while not having the time or expertise to manage the rental process on my own. Everything with TurboTenant has been intuitive and easy so far. It checks all the boxes! I really appreciate that.

"Paid for a service I never received"
I submitted a background screening for a property we own, but received the wrong email address from the tenant. After the tenant corrected their address, Turbotenant's system would never allow me to change it. Although it indicates I can, after many many attempts the system would simply not allow or perform the change. Thus the prospective tenants never received their email asking for screening approval. Turbotenant took my money, but never delivered a complete screening, even after emailing their support staff. I was forced to spend additional money - of my own - with another service.

This is my first experience with turbo tenant. I am using it at another Realtor's suggestion. So far I really like it. I would purchase the premiere program but only have one rental at this time. Thanks so much
