I was bumped from my overbooked flight and moved to a moved to a new flight 24hrs later and received no compensation/payout from Explorer. Hugely disappointing and misleading information and very poor outcome. Will not be using these services again. Too many loopholes in the coverage

I had acute altitude sickness while backpacking in Peru and struggled with getting a phone signal to call the insurance company. They have a 24/7 emergency email and are also available 24/7 on WhatsApp with very quick assistance. This was the first time I have had any such issue when so far away from home and they were extremely supportive. Even after I was discharged they contacted me for updates on my condition and with help and advice on how to get to a lower altitude safely. The costs of my treatment were covered by thr company with no issues. I'd definitely use this company again. They made a very stressful situation much easier for us

I have used Explorer before and have to say they didnt let me down after having to seek medical assistance as became ill days into my vacation everything was covered fully and without any fuss.
I have again bought their cover as it is not only very reasonable but an exceptional service is provided a d would highly reccomend them to anyone thinking or looking for travel insurance.

As my husband has considerable health issues we have had to shop around for travel insurance and some companies have ridiculous prices. We found Ian at Explorer Travel over a year ago and have just renewed our policy for the second year. We are very happy with the cover and reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
