Quick, efficient, high quality. Rhys, Luke and Evan the plumbers were so considerate: they explained everything, checked everything suited us down to exact positions of radiators. They worked around us working from home and kept it so tidy, put everything as I wanted it when they finished. Instal looks smart and tidy, heating and hot water work perfectly.

Just had Lewis and Craig here to do internal wall insulation, boarding and plastering as part of the ECO4 energy scheme. I can’t rate this pair highly enough. Friendly, professional and hard working. Liam and Martin from Smart Energy Homes were exemplary. We were a bit concerned about workmen undertaking such a big and messy job in one of our bedrooms but they were polite, caring, communicative, punctual and hardworking. They did a great job and when they finished they were very diligent in cleaning up and putting everything back as it was. We would highly recommend.

When the Eco work started on my nans house myself and my family were a little worried, she is old and lives in the middle of nowhere on her own, so the thought of having groups of strangers working on her house was a little daunting.

We couldnt have been happier with the way it all went. The teams where nothing but polite and friendly and even went out of their way to look after her, grabbing her some shopping on lunch break, moving furniture for her even just stopping to check she was ok and having a chat.

We were over the moon when we got an eco4 grant for the house, However, it is now March and we’ve been let down so many times by this companyand the work still isn’t complete, workmen damaging our house, jobs left half finished, some bolshy workmen, having said that, most were approachable and nice. The issue seem to be the communication between departments. Workmen have turned up a number of time (more than 6) without the proper equipment etc. we feel so let down and are still waiting for a response to get the finished article. This post really doesn’t explain how poor this experience has been overall.

Do not use this company! Hardly any communication. Had to chase constantly for dates and things to be done (still chasing) and job was started in December. Workmen come in and rush the jobs then follow up people have to come out. Damage caused to property and company refuses to compensate.

"Very disappointed with this unprofessional company"

Very disappointed with this company.agreeed a start date, funding in place. Electrician made safe most of our sockets and light switches prior to commencement and made holes in the walls (necessary). We removed shelves, cupboards andd furniture. No one turned up on the day and we were told they'd overrun the previous job. We then had someone arrive to tell us they wouldn't be doing the job. After some negotiation it was agreed to commence the work on the Thursday or following monday. No one on Thursday and on Friday a further phonecall, they'd changed their minds and wouldn't be proceeding. One person told use there wasn't enough meterage in it for them, and another that it was structural. We had to ask for someone to come back and reinstall the electrical work and make good the walls. This they didn't do until a week later. No compensation for redecorating.
The initial surveyor also lost our photos, we had to ask for someone to come out and discuss all aspects of work and so a structural survey. The workmen were just going to start with no prior consultation.
We have since had an assessment from another company and there was so comparison, they were here for over two hours surveying and filling in forms.
I can't recommend this company at all, their professionalism was non existent.
I have to say that the men they subcontracted too were lovely and I cant praise them highly enough for their workmanship, but Smart Energy Homes, no thank you.

Just want to say a huge thank you for everything you have done regarding upgrading our heating, solar and insulation. Professional service, very friendly and efficient. Especially Rhys and Rob from R&R Energy Solutions, they have done a lot more than they had to do to make sure we were all happy and understood our new system. Highly recommended.

"We have had nothing but problems!!"

We have had nothing but problems!!
Firstly with the plastering company and damage to my carpets spilled pink water all down stairs and down my papered walls!The damage has now been repaired thankfully.
Then the plumbers well done start there they are utter useless! First they fell through a ceiling 'ops was that me ' then numerous water leaks as the workmen were boys who personally I don't think are trained. Now to the system not working properly and after numerous phone calls emails still hasn't been fixed. I am seriously at my wits end !
They turn up late afternoon only to say we haven't got time to fix it we have to come back another day or we gave to confirm with the boss first as to the repairs.
We have told them that they shouldn't use these plumbers but yet they still are.
This has been ongoing now for the last 5months if not longer.
I am thinking of legal action asi don't know what else to do.
