Really pleased with the whole experience. Every worker and member of staff that we met and that were on site were all helpful, professional and easy to talk to. We had no issues and always had explantations and updates for changes etc. Both Andrew the sales manager and Abigail the project manager were excellent throughout. Both were courteous and professional and very easy to communicate with. We were really grateful for their help, the time they gave and have how accessible they were via phone or email. Overall, we are really pleased with the service and look forward to enjoying the new system and work that has been installed. Highly recommend this company

"Word of warning"

Do not let Smart Energy Homes work on your property, the service is terrible at every level from customer service to end product.

Under the ECO4 heating scheme we were told our home energy efficiency would be improved and our annual heating bills would be reduced.

Smart Energy Homes then attempted to fit a system that would have left us with dramatically increased annual heating costs and when our concerns were raised they suggested we just switch off the heating system to reduce bills or pay to have more solar panels fitted to improve efficiency.

Unbelievably incompetent company. Having poor customer service is one thing, but being an "energy efficiency" company that cannot even deliver that, is staggering incompetence beyond words.

"ECO4 Scheme"

Raffle and Pietre spent a week at my small cottage putting in wall insulation and plastering and replacing skirting boards. They were extremely conscientious, worked hard despite having to work I cramped conditions. They were thorough and helpful answering all my questions. They were punctual and cleaned up after themselves every day before leaving for the evening. They made a rather stressful experience bearable, as all the living spaces except bathroom and kitchen were being worked on at once, with furniture stacked everywhere. They covered the carpets and put protection over all of my furniture and valuables, which I couldn't store elewhere. They were courteous and kind and would recommend them.

"Good Scheme"

We had wall insulation installed, which has made our house more comfortable. They also put in an air source heat pump and solar panels, . All the workers were friendly . Claire was very helpful, providing clear explanations throughout the process. The office staff were also very pleasant, and the project manager frequently called to ensure everything was going smoothly. We're very grateful for the excellent service

What a brilliant scheme!
A representative contacted me via a door to door campaign and I thought it was to good to be true. However, I received wall insulation (house is so cosy now), air source heat pump and solar panels - they even did my loft. All the tradesmen were lovely and really good at their jobs. Rhys was so helpful and explained everything to me. The office staff were also lovely and project person range me all the time to check everything was okay. Thanks you Smarty Homes :-)

Smart Energy Homes were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. Having experienced similar schemes in the past, myself and my wife were very reluctant to agree to having any work done. The energy assessors and surveyors were very informative and answered all of our questions and filled us with confidence in the company and the planned work. The office were also very attentive and met all deadlines that they promised to us. The install was completed to a very high standard and they went above and beyond to accommodate us by moving our furniture. Cannot recommend them enough and it’s so refreshing to deal with such a great company. Thank you, our house has never been so warm!!
