Connection at the new property was delayed by a day due to technician not being able to access the property because of unrestrained dogs. There are dogs next door but no dogs on our property. As it is acreage it should have been very clear which side of the fence the dogs were on.

"Like the daily tracking"
I like the ability to see daily usage in relative real time and that's why I chose to return to AGL. I disliked how long it took for the connection to show in the app. Whilst the electricity only took a few days to shows as connected, the gas took a week and half and multiple conversations with the chat support feature. That was disappointing.

"Terrible customer support"
Had AGL for power/wifi/gas for one year. I had multiple bills that come in with incorrect values. Their customer support call centre is the worse I have ever seem. Very rude, and bottom line incapable of fixing the simplest of issues. You just get changed from person to person for hours. I waited average 45 min to have a call picked up and then they just keep saying that they will pass you to the correct team like 3-5 times per call. I had calls that took over 2h and nothing was fixed ( simple connection issues etc)

I’ve never NOT had a problem with AGL. when I call them I can’t understand them and they can’t understand me. I had to call AGL 5 times in 1 hour for them to change my name to the correct spelling for my email because they got it wrong. 5 times!! Whenever I pay my overdue bills they also don’t show up that ive Paid them. This is the worst power and internet company I’ve ever been with. We are changing today. Do not join with AGL!!!

We purchased an interstate property and power was never disconnected even post settlement.
I tried to switch over to AGL 3 times. Three times my connection request to AGL was rejected by Energex. Did AGL bother to tell me that it was rejected or the reason? NO! I had to make numerous phone calls and follow ups. Poor communication and no one knew why it happened. It was only until it was escalated to the manager that there was some progress.

"New customer dissatisfaction"
I organised for both electricity and gas to be connected on 20 October. The electricity was connected within a couple of days of 20 October but as at today 1 November the gas has still not been connected, on account it says the setup is in progress. Not good enough and very disappointed

"Overcharged $100 for 'estimated' usage"
AGL kept taking estimates of my gas meter and saying they couldn't read it due to it being overgrown. The meter is clearly accessible...you can see it from across the street FFS! Overcharged $100 for gas and nobody from AGL could tell me why it was reported as overgrown. Clearly they take estimates to over charge customers. I switched to another provider and will never use use any AGL product again. They can't be trusted and don't deserve mine or anyone else's business.
