Description of sink was BLACK on website both on drop down options and also on image of item. Only in small
Print was described ‘silvery black.’ Photo looked black and could not be enlarged to see the detail of the colour.
When Sink was received the box read SILVERY BLACK as manufacturers description.
Contacted to ask whether it could be returned and exchanged. They said categorical no. No budging, no movement. Nothing. All by email.
Now left with a postage bill of upwards of 60 pounds because they ‘can not afford to pay it.’ Neither can I! Trying to buy locally to help the economy....
Have then received an email telling me that I am writing untruths and trying to sabotage their business.
I think there needs to be some work done to make sure that the description matches the product so that people don’t feel duped and then left with a product they don’t want yet can’t afford to return. Oh, and maybe don’t email someone to tell them that their review isn’t true!

Having ordered a belfast sink but forgetting the plug and waste disposal pipes, I started a chat with sinks-taps.com.
The response from their representative, Richard, was both immediate and helpful. after a couple of further queries from me, Richard ensured a quick sonf successful outcome.
Wouldn't hesitate in recommending them following Richard's excellent performance.

…This is a joke right? You absolute scammers and liars. I have clearly said in my review that I understood paypal did not send you notification of payment (now I think that is a lie) HOWEVER! I emailed you multiple times with no response. When I finally got a reply from your company Richard said ‘I can just put the order on manually’ and asked me to provide the information of what I ordered along with my address and my contact number which to me means everything is fine. At the very least you should have called me if there was a problem seen as though an email is too much trouble(don’t blame covid).
I said in the emails how important it is that I get these sinks ASAP, that was on 22/10/2020 and both items were in stock on that date 9 days after I placed my original order and 7 days after my first email to you so don’t come out with the out of stock excuse. I left you more than enough time to sort my order or contact me, I then even emailed you to say that if you do not have my items its not a problem but just tell me and refund me but you never did.
You are saying you asked Paypal to reverse the payment? Well surprise surprise that’s another lie, after asking you in yet another email on 28/10/20 to either update me or refund me (which of course was ignored) I opened a paypal case against you on 30/10/20 which as of now 22:31 on 08/11/20 is still marked as ‘Waiting for sellers response’ you are lying and I feel stupid for supporting small businesses like yours because you should not be allowed to trade. I said clearly in my emails that I need the sinks on site so my fitter can template/cut the worktops but because of your disgusting treatment I have now lost my slot and have no kitchen at all, given the stress of another lockdown and Christmas coming up I have nothing till the new year.
All you had to do was reply and have the decency to tell me you cannot fulfil my order and it would have saved me a month of chasing you and saved my kitchen along with all the costs I have incurred. The fact you have lied and have the time to police your reviews yet cant find the time to reply to emails and contact your customers proves my point, the gentleman above me (Steven Railton) seems to have had the same problem but of course you must an excuse for that too.
STOP LYING!!! All you had to tell me was that it was out of stock and refund me, instead you had me wasting my time chasing you via emails. I use paypal for everything and every other company from a private seller on ebay to Nike that had an item out of stock managed to refund me immediately so don’t lie, You literally have made my life hell during an already difficult time and the best you can come out with in your reply to me is ‘I feel it is a little unfair that we should receive a negative review’???? not even an attempt to make things right??? the words I really wanted to say to you are not appropriate for this forum…. Do the decent thing, log onto your Paypal, go to our case, own up to your mistake and give me my refund.

I have been trying to contact sinks and taps for several weeks and all communication is ignored. I am owed £120 which should have been paid 2 months ago. No response to emails or phone calls. Even the threat of a small claims submission hasn't prompted a response.
Totally unacceptable, but seems there is nothing I can do.

Great service and great product. Surprised and disappointed I had to pay for next day delivery as I had ordered another tap (cheaper tap) from a different company the day before and paid nothing for next day delivery.
