I received a very excellent customer support services, Jen, a senior collection advisor was so wonderful, meticulously listened to my enquiry and gave professional advise which I found commendable. I always looking forward to speak to her each time I tried to call.

"Further to my complaint with marsh…"

Further to my complaint with marsh finance my problem hasn’t been resolved they are refusing to upheld it . The car in question was faulty from day one and I was for ever on the phone to carcraft Sheffield about this matter after 14 months when the car finally blow up that’s when I gave them the car back isn’t it a coincidence that carcraft went bust and no longer trading it’s a joke I will sort this matter out myself

"Overpayments"

Until today when I asked for a settlement figure I must say that Marsh Finance have been great.
However I had a monthly payment of less than £100 but paid £250.
I have been informed that this just goes into a credit and I am paying interest on my full balance and the credit amount is not taken into account, ie Marsh Finance are getting interest on my overpayments and charging me interest on it at the same time.
So please check with them and insist that any over payments are an early settlement payment.
This also means that it does not a true reflection on your credit file.

Update as of the 21st of May 2024

So, one week later since my last update & nearly 4 weeks after my original post, I have still heard nothing despite Marsh Finance promising me the following....

"Prioritising my concern"
"Sharing their deepest apologies"

& yet I have still heard nothing & the silence is deafening. This, backs up one of the points that I initially outlined in my original post, that Marsh Finance are not 'Customer Orientated' & Marsh Finance obviously firmly believe, that by replying to me with what I can only call 'buzz words', will placate me. Well Marsh Finance, it hasn't.

I will continue to post updates on here however, wouldn't it be nice to see another reply from Marsh Finance letting me know their latest position?

Update as of the 13th of May 2024

So, we have seen what we could describe as a 'Professional' reply which was posted by Marsh Finance on the 29th of April 2024.

We can read that Marsh Finance would like to "express our deepest apologies", my case "Has been escalated to the highest level within the organisation" and Marsh Finance are "currently reviewing the details of your situation as a matter of urgency". Marsh Finance also "value your long-term relationship" and "address this promptly".

Well, there is no surprise that I have heard absolutely nothing from Marsh Finance despite their reply on here which they posted two weeks ago.

For as long as I stay alive, I will update this post.

An absolute disgusting company to deal with.
I 'was' a long term Client of theirs however, I was recently diagnosed as being terminally ill.

I sent through the medical evidence to Marsh Finance outlining my illness & diagnosis to them. I am close to paying the loan back & as I am now only paying off the interest & my now unfortunate situation, I requested a settlement figure & the MD (Managing Director), found it in his/her heart to reduce what I owe by a miserly 2%. This, I find, is absolutely disgusting!!!!

I actually feel quite insulted by the MD's settlement figure & paying a loan off with a 36% interest (I know, my fault on this one), I would urge prospective Clients to look elsewhere because Marsh Finance, in my experience, are most certainly not Customer Orientated!!!!
Steer well clear would be my advice.

"Why no electric cars"

Why no electric cars? It's a complete joke. I wanted to get an electric car on finance and they "don't do electric cars" and it's a business decision. They're going to lose out on so much money because of these so called "Directors" that made this stupid decision.

"Awful company"

Awful company, go else where if you can! The car I paid 4,500 less than a year ago after already paying over £500 in repairs. Is now off road has been for 2 weeks and is going to cost over £2,000 to fix the car with out know what other problem could pop up, they have been so unhelpful, I’ve had to continue making full payments to insurance tax and marsh even though the car has been off road for 3-5 weeks at A time! Paying for cabs to work etc it’s put me in a bad place! I’m now unable to afford to get the car out the garage as the warranty they sell you (warranty wise) are just as useless !! Now having to continue to pay all of this while it’s broken and I have to wait for the ombudsman to help, my case was only passed over 2 days ago so still weeks of waiting for a reply, avoid at all cost!!

"useless company "

useless company , check YOUR CREDIT FILE! They totally messed mine up for nearly 4 years , saying I didn't pay and reflected it as missed payments, I paid every month. No one in the customer care calls you back and the company is unprofessional and a joke!
