"Quick Ship Moving: Exception service! "

Quick Ship Moving: excellent service by their team. I moved around alot and used a lot of companies but Quick ship moving probably has been the best by far. Ezzy from Quick Ship Moving has helped me. His communication and help was exceptional. They came on time and wrapped everything up securely and their communication was top notch! Highly recommend them.

"STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM SAFE SHIP!"

Do NOT be fooled .. what started with decent and helpful service during the quote process quickly turned into a terrifying ordeal. It was a stressful and financially draining nightmare marked by significant unexpected price increases, hidden packaging fees, unlicensed movers, rudeness, and threats.

While Safe Ship does disclose that they operate as a broker, they guarantee their brokers are certified and licensed. The movers who arrived in Chicago were not licensed to drive their moving truck. When I confronted them about this, they fabricated a ridiculous excuse, claiming the truck was too large to be driven into Chicago.

When I called this out, their reaction escalated to threats: they threatened to dump all of my furniture on the side of the road, in the middle of a snowstorm, unless I paid for a U-Haul for their illegal operation - an unexpected increase of almost $1000 on my final bill. It felt like a blatant act of coercion and potential endangerment.

Furthermore, despite claiming they "take care of everything," Safe Ship completely failed to disclose their packaging fees. Be warned: they will charge you extra to wrap essential furniture items like your sofa and even a simple coffee table.

The initial quote I received was significantly lower than the final bill, which ballooned due to the U-Haul fiasco and hidden packaging expenses. This bait-and-switch tactic seems to be common practice for them based on the reviews.

While they were initially accommodating when providing the quote, once my furniture was picked up, their attitude and level of service went completely out the window.

They lure you in with deceptive pricing. Save yourself a horrific experience and STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM SAFE SHIP!

"Movers came right on time"

Movers came right on time. The crew were very knowledgeable and working diligently. They took great care of our furniture, super professional and friendly. They were flexible and no hidden fees, they honored our original price by our broker although we had extra items and packing. We appreciate very much for their excellent service and their professionalism. Highly recommended!!

"Damaged furniture"

The company who delivered our items damaged almost every piece of furniture and when we filed with the insurance we were told that the company isn't insured with them. We then reached out to Safe Ship, who hasn't responded. The delivery company advertised on Craigslist for workers to unload the truck and they didn't know how to move furniture. The driver was rude and yelling about us in our driveway. Weeks later and we still haven't heard from SafeShip.
Update - My daughter, who coordinated our move, heard from SafeShip with no resolution other than to contact the insurer again. Our house entryway was also damaged by the movers.

"DO NOT USE SAFESHIP!"

This company is horrible! I was considering possibly moving next year. I was verbally promised a full refund by a sales associate named Caleb at any point, after declining their estimate because their refund policy stated refunds would only be given within 72 hours. I have it documented in an email that I would be fully refunded. They are now sending me in circles, telling me that it's been too long for a refund and they won't let me speak to Caleb or pull my call with him. It was a $1,700 deposit! This company's customer service is great at bouncing you from associate to associate, but horrible at resolving issues!
