I usually hate the process of buying a new car as you typically get the pushy salesman type who haggles on price. Jonathan was superb at HPL Oldham and didn't once give me the hard sell, and having worked in 'sales' for years now there is nothing worse than hearing the car sales spiel. Jonathan was attentive and contactable at all points, and I was needing a quick process and purchase due to requiring a new electric vehicle for my company before the end of the tax year.
Thanks again to Jonathan Dooley of HPL Oldham, new in the role but appeared to have worked there years - got a good one on your hands here HPL!

I bought a 2021 plate car , had no clue what to buy open to ideas. The sales man Noah was absolutely brilliant… he asked if we needed any help and at first we were just browsing, he then asked if anything had caught our eye . Nothing was too much trouble to Noah all in our own time . Picked car up a week later all ready really pleased with it . Highly recommend HPL motors customer service was second to none .

I purchased a 2021 car from HPL Motors from sales man Arash, and shortly after, I discovered significant undisclosed damage, including a large dent in the sill keep in mind this is the main purpose for this review didn't mention the scratches on the bumper, cracks in the boot, and previous repairs to the left wing as clearly can see a dent has been pulled out - as I take accountability for these and happy to accepted the car, it was the large dent on the sill, and when I seen this inspected the car more with a body detailer was told it all links to it's been in an accident not stated officially but all links to it, the gap from the left wing is bigger on the one side (where a dent has been pulled out as light doesn't align). It looks like a shadow on advertisement, and when contacting HPL motors, they confirm from evidence of advertisement the damage was there during advertisement … didn't get to see the car until I paid for everything.
I contacted HPL Motors less than a month after purchasing the vehicle, and Arash, told me it was "general wear and tear", the dent to the sill, which I have attached, which I felt was an unreasonable response considering the severity of the damage.
The car was also missing spare key, boot internal panel and the locking wheel nut, both of which should have been included with the vehicle... another thing to add...
After posting this review 2 months ago, I was asked to follow up, which I did recently after seeing the response. However, when I reached out again, I was told by Gerard, damage wasn’t listed in my recent MOT and that it had passed but what about my MOT done by you guys before the car was released if that's the case. To be clear, everyone knows an MOT is a safety check, not a condition check.
In addition, when I followed up recently I was told that due to the length of time since the purchase, they couldn’t do anything about the issue, despite me contacting them within a month of purchase initially. I was then simply given a quote for repair, which I feel should have been covered by HPL Motors due to the lack of transparency at the time of sale.
I am disappointed that HPL Motors did not take full responsibility for the situation and given the circumstances, I cannot recommend HPL Motors based on my experience...

Very good experience buying our new car at HPL Preston. Matthew T. was our sales advisor and we felt absolutely looked after from the moment we walked in, he was extremely helpful at every stage of the process. He kept us informed while waiting for the car and even managed a late hand over before the weekend. Definitely recommend.

Saw the car I wanted advertised for sale by HPL on a car sales website.
Contacted them via e-mail and they phoned me within 30 minutes. Sale was conducted by phone and a tentative deal was reached, subject to a satisfactory inspection and test drive. The salesman was young but very professional and well trained.
I was nervous because I had dealt with a rogue trader back in 2008 who took payment for a car then went bankrupt. However HPL came good - they kept in contact with me and had the car ready for collection within the week.
When I arrived at HPL, I was impressed by their huge showroom and the pleasant treatment I received. The salesman organised a viewing and test drive for me and when I agreed the sale he organised the road tax for me so I was ready to drive away as soon as payment was made by bank transfer.
The car had been inspected, serviced, MOT'd and thoroughly valeted ready for sale. It was cleaner than most brand new cars I have had.
I have had the car for one week now and I am completely satisfied with it.
Overall a very good experience - as good as my last car purchase from a franchised dealer.

Nice selection of car’s sale person was over pushy did not take no for a answer problem with car are sorting it after having to make a complaint. Just want the money after care very poor. Would not be going back

"Definitely Recommend HPL OLDHAM"
I’ve just bought my 3rd car from HPL OLdham. I only went to drop a friend off to pick her car up and ended up buying myself a car.
Andy was really helpful, explained everything little detail to me, sat and listened to what I wanted in a car. He even went out in heavy rain to bring the cars in to the show room so I didn’t get wet. He didn’t chuck me out at 8pm even though he might have wanted to, after all the questions I had asked and shared his Jaffa Cakes!
After choosing the car I wanted, he kept me updated, even came in on his day off instead off playing golf, so I could get my car on time.
I’m greatful for his help.

I don’t usually leave reviews but the service I received from Liam at HPL Stockport was AMAZING. He was professional, friendly and not pushy at all, from test driving it, to the paperwork and the after service. Liam even took my private plates off as I struggled and because the holes didn’t match up on my new car he had me new ones re-done. Liam you are a credit to the company, I would 100% recommend HPL Stockport and for excellent service ask for Liam.
