"Just because you booked doesn’t mean you’ve actually booked…"

Booked a flight, they contacted me a day later to say: At the time your booking was made, the fare and flight you selected for the outbound segment could not be confirmed due to availability issues on the airline’s end.

Then told me they could rebook the flight for £87 more - they are currently advertising the same flight on their website for £15 less than the quoted £87 more.

You might get the flight at the price they say but it’s proved to be an expensive gamble as I could have got the flight for considerably less from the airlines website at the same time yesterday.

(Expensive) Lesson learnt.
