"Flight was cancelled, but resolved with ease!"

I was very nervous when I got an email 4 weeks before my flight advising it had been cancelled, when the alternative flights were unsuitable. However Roy Edwards was excellent and found flights that matched my dates, promptly replied and provided new tickets. I’m overall very impressed with the efficiency and great customer service.

many times the webpage has been refreshed, and its showing the prices are being updated while i was checking out, its so horrible, I tried 5 times to book my flight and finally it happened

Needed to reschedule a flight in our multi leg flight booking urgently as an internal domestic flight (booked separately) had been delayed/rescheduled , got through to a very unprofessional individual on phone, very rude on phone - Brian Adams (with a strong Indian accent and broken English) - who took advantage of our need and desperation - charged us £850 to reschedule our flight and threatened if we didn’t take the offer - our return flights to the UK would be cancelled - leaving us to have to pay for new flights which would exceed the total prices

When we asked for Brian to provide details of the terms and conditions - He provided references in the T&Cs which were clearly related to hotel bookings - when we called him out on this he became rude and evasive, almost shouting at us - at one point he even exclaimed “oh my god” in frustration at us

We were scammed of £850 for our desperation, and they are soo slow constantly placing you on hold. This inefficiency on the phone just added to the frustration of being played by this fraudulent company - but also to rub salt in the wound we were left with a hefty calling charge on top of this to get it through to Travelup from abroad

We noted after the call on the invoice that was issued that the company had charged £150 per person for our return flight Home (not the flight we were contacting Travelup for) - which we did not need changing at all and so it is unclear why they charged us for that

Wish I had read some of the negative reviews of this company before initially using them to buy our tickets - we have contacted the company but no answers /replies

I’m also very dubious of the positive short worded reviews on this site trustpilot, in the age of AI technology and very unspecific comments - are these even real or just to drown out the floods of bad experiences that are added on almost daily basis?? Please see for yourself and avoid this company !
