Signing up for Hitched has been my biggest mistake. Over the last 10 months, despite paying £200 a month, I’ve only managed to book one wedding. Most leads are completely useless couples simply tick a box to show interest and often contact multiple suppliers at once with no genuine intention to book. Hardly anyone responds, and many leads seem fake. It’s been a frustrating experience and a complete waste of money. I strongly advise suppliers to avoid Hitched and invest in more effective platforms.

I've used hitched for the last three years and have found it one of the best platforms to generate enquiries. The account managers are very supportive and honest even through difficult periods in the sector resulting in a downturn in 2023. My account manager was full of simple but affect ideas that have helped.

"I recently left a review for a vendor…"

I recently left a review for a vendor on the Hitched platform, only to discover that it was removed from their profile page the very next day. I wasn’t notified about the removal or given any explanation as to why it happened. To my surprise, the vendor’s rating had also gone back up to 5 stars.

This lack of transparency is deeply disappointing. Users rely on honest and unbiased reviews to make informed decisions, but this experience raises serious concerns about the integrity of the platform. How can future users trust the reviews they see if negative feedback is seemingly removed without reason?

Transparency and accountability are crucial for any review platform, and I urge Hitched to address this issue.

"Product suppliers AVOID"

Product suppliers AVOID! Scammers.
They will keep charging you do not sign they false advertising contract... nothing they promise is real all a play to get the most money out if you. They refuse to close account and keep trying to take funds. Report to Financial authorities. CONTACT bank for refund their customer service team all theive anyone who contacts you via their emails all after one thing your Money! You get bombarded with so called useless counterfeit guide that do not yield to any sale!. Avoid

"I signed up in July with the hope of…"

I signed up in July with the hope of attracting lots of Brides and Grooms to enquire and order their wedding cake from me. For £70 a month I knew this was steep but thought it would be worth it if I could get the business....how wrong I was. I get lots of enquiries but hardly any replies makes me thing that there are a few fake ones being sent. I wasn't told on the phone when I signed up that i was stuck in a contract for a year. Its really not worth the money I should have just stuck to a free listing!!
Ive ask to go down to 2 counties but was told I couldn't.

"Extremely Disappointed with Hitched’s Review Process"

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Hitched, particularly with how they handle customer reviews. I left an honest and accurate review about a vendor I used for my wedding, only to have it removed after the vendor falsely claimed they did not provide the service I reviewed. Despite providing evidence to prove my claims, Hitched sided with the vendor without consulting me or verifying the facts.

It’s clear that Hitched allows vendors to manipulate the review process, which completely undermines the platform’s credibility. As a groom, I relied on Hitched to provide honest, transparent reviews to make informed decisions, but this experience has shown me that negative feedback is not treated fairly. Instead of protecting customers, Hitched appears to prioritise keeping vendors happy—even when they provide substandard services.

This type of behavior is damaging not only to couples planning their weddings but also to Hitched’s reputation as a trustworthy platform. Allowing vendors to have negative reviews removed means future customers are left in the dark about potential issues and risks.

I would not recommend Hitched to anyone looking for reliable feedback or fair treatment. If you expect transparency and accountability from the vendors you hire, avoid using this platform. My experience has been nothing but disappointing, and I sincerely hope Hitched reevaluates how they handle customer reviews before they lose the trust of their users altogether.
