All was well when one day, after an update, some websites were blocked.
After checking, it seems like Threat Protection mode was the cause.
Issued a ticket and problem was solved, though it did take a rather long time (1 month) to fix it.

It is a scam. It only worked for a couple of weeks. I have a ticket open at their support since weeks and they are not able to provide the service that I paid for and continue to pay for.
It is basicallly a not serious Company offering anonomous VPN for 30 days and not after.
For everyone’s information: TURN OFF THE AUTO EXTENDED SUBSCRIPTION BUTTON, HIDDEN DEEP IN YOUR ACCOUNT. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 180€ FOR THE SECOND YEAR (WITH NO SERVICE!)
To NordVPN : I spent three hours with live chat support service with no successful outcome!
My service ticket is open since weeks !
If you have any decency, you would cancel my account as I wished in the beginning, since this is clearly not going anywhere.

They advertise that their VPN works at VPN restricted areas, which isn't TRUE.
You will be bounced between plenty of techs, that obviously didn't read what the other agents had you made troubleshoot and keep suggesting the same things then at some point, someone ignorant will just respond to your email saying "I am glad that you issue was resolved"
Day 5 or 6 after the VPN purchase and I can only use the browser extension.
Firstly they make you go through every troubleshoting method, then they keep repeating themselves in the hope that you just get tired. I wasted a total of 6 hours trying all their troubleshooting methods only to be told, oh yeah it seems that out app has issues and we CAN'T connect in vpn restricted areas.
Additionally they don't won't to give a CLEAR estimation on when the problem will be fixed by the developers team which means that they AREN'T actually working on the issue. they are just misleading and hoping that the period to reverse the transaction would just be over and ta da, they took My money and gave me no functional vpn.
ALSO : ExpressVPN and PrivadoVPN are working perfectly fine where I am currently located.
Special thanks to agent Angel Miguel however for taking his time, hours to try to help fix the issues but the issues are with the client not the troubleshooting methods.

"Nord VPN funktioniert in China nicht "
Ich habe Nord VPN extra für meine China Reise gekauft. Leider hat es überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Ich habe alle Optionen ausprobiert, aber es kam einfach keine Verbindung zustande. Dieses Problem haben 4 weitere Personen aus unserer Gruppe ebenfalls gehabt. Den Kundenservice konnten wir nicht kontaktieren, da wir ja keinen Zugang zum Internet bekommen haben. Also mein Fazit, Nord VPN ist für China nicht möglich.
