"Lazy staff unwilling to help"

Lazy staff unwilling to help. I went to the store at Cannock Outlet, it wasn't busy, staff were lazy, unwilling to help us measure our kids feet. We waited 20 minutes before asking for help at the tills and she still proceeded to serve another customer. At this point I walked out, they don't deserve any business of mine.

"Thank you Hemi"

Hemi in the Stratford branch gave us a wonderful experience when recently getting my 4 year old daughter new shoes. Hemi took great care, and made certain that the shoes fit and supported my daughters growing feet.

"Poor experience"

Poor experience. Measured my daughters feet smaller than she was measured 6 months ago. Now I have to pay to return the postal order as they're too small.

Assistant was unhelpful and made me feel quite patronised when I questioned about sizing up for shoes that the kids would be wearing in the Summer. Surely a customer shouldn't need to argue about how they are spending their money!

Won't be shopping at Clarks again. Shopping should be an enjoyable experience without being made to feel awkward.

Thanks to Grainne at Clarks Abbey Centre Newtownabbey for her patience and understanding whilst I struggled to find the correct work shoes. Grainne’s advice and brand knowledge were most helpful and her cheerful disposition made my visit to the store a pleasure. No pressure, just good customer care that was much appreciated.

"I have been a Clarke’s shoe fan for…"

I have been a Clarke’s shoe fan for over 40 years, more recently I have found it difficult to get wide fitting shoes and have sometimes purchased shoes later to find they are a poor fit.
Today I visited Clarke’s Castlepoint Bournemouth, it was a delight to find an assistant who was so helpful and actually understood my requirements, Carla explained all of the shoes in detail and demonstrated interest and enthusiasm, very refreshing, well done Carla.

"Clarks Ignore Customers"

Bought some shoes online and took them to store afterwards to request a refund and paid for different shoes. The refund was accepted but I did not receive the £81 in my account.

Following this I have emailed them and have explained I did not receive the refund and my bank confirmed this. They still said the refund had been sent so I requested proof of the transfer to my bank.

They ignored me after this so I emailed them again a couple weeks later. I explained again what had happened and further requested proof of transfer. Again they just ignored me completely.

All emails have been saved and I am now in the process of reporting them to Trading Standards.
