"All you need is there"

"Scummy Practices, thieves"

This is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. The story is too long to write honestly. Seriously beware, don't let the inviting branding fool you, these guys are greedy scumbags. They stole over $1000 from me and when my credit card company decided that it was fraudulent and charged it back, Landing sent it to collections. Terrible App, Terrible Website, Terrible customer service, Terrible people. Don't believe me? Find out for yourself. Have fun

***Update: They say they'd like to make things right in their response. I spent over 20 hours on the phone with these pieces of trash, if the wanted to make it right they would have done it already. Funny how they say that in their public response but, have not reached out to me at all....

"Horrible Costumer Service "

My husband and I were in town visiting my family. We arrived excited to stay at this property, as the amenities for dogs seemed great and the place looked clean and upgraded.

Upon arrival, we found the dog amenities subpar, with dog poop on the stairs and walkway. While this is likely the fault of irresponsible dog owners, it’s still disappointing. The furniture reeked of dog urine, and the glasses were chipped. The heat was limited to 70 degrees, and the shower became cold after just a 7-minute shower. The power went out twice during our stay. Unloading your car is a hassle due to the walk to the parking lot and the confusing layout of the place.

Once we were settled, my husband discovered that the toilet wasn’t working. We had no plumbing for three days of our stay. No one responded to our complaints until Monday afternoon. After the maintenance fixed the toilet, it was still not flushing properly. My husband had to go by a plunger and cleaner for the pipes.

Pamela met us Monday with more keys and a parking pass. I let her know what was going on, and she said she’d check on the work order. She also informed me that Steve was my contact and she’d have him call me. Pamela gave me her number, which was pointless because she was unresponsive after we met and Steve never reached out.

Our trip ended due to the fact that my mother-in-law got hurt, and we needed to head home immediately to help her. They refused to reimburse us more than $50 because we didn’t give them a 30-day notice, which is absurd considering we booked less than 20 days for the stay.

I contacted the number on the website 415-940-7344, and they basically told me I was out of luck and there’s nothing they can do. I was advised to try the area manager, and guess who answered: Steve. The one that never reached out to us nor made it a point to check on the property. I spoke to him, and he said I will have to speak to the app I used to book the property, and he’s just a middleman and cannot help with anything. I told him I booked through Landing, you work for them, right? He then finally says there’s not much I can do.

Highly recommend never staying here or using the Landing app.

"Temporary, fully-furnished housing made easy!"

My husband and I were embarking on a cross-country move. We needed to move out of our current home so we could stage/sell it, but we did not yet have a place to live in our new city. Luckily, we discovered Landing! The Landing team helped us find fully-furnished housing in both cities where we could live with all the comforts we needed such as plates and pans in the kitchen, towels in the bathroom, and bedding on the beds, for the exact timeframe that we needed. They even helped us navigate finding a place in a large metro that would make commuting easier. The bonus was that all utilities, including Wi-Fi was included in the price. It made it so easy to make it through this move, and the Landing move-in and move-out process and communication throughout has been stellar.

"Classic Bait-and-Switch!"

If you're considering booking with Landing, be warned: they are untrustworthy, disorganized, and prioritize their convenience over customer commitments. Our experience was a classic bait-and-switch. We booked and paid for a ground-floor unit because we were traveling with my 84-year-old father, who cannot manage stairs. After multiple confirmations from their team that it was on the ground floor, they later "updated" the listing to say it was a third-floor unit — and conveniently forgot to notify us.

When we flagged this issue, Landing admitted their mistake but refused to honor the original booking. Instead, they offered "compensation" in the form of small discounts — not remotely enough to cover the increased cost of finding a comparable unit at another location. Their customer service was slow, unresponsive, and ultimately unhelpful. We had to chase them down for updates and refunds.

Landing's "7-day guarantee" is meaningless if they can't even honor the original terms of a booking. They advertise one thing, then change it later, leaving you with limited options and added stress. For a company that claims to provide a "hassle-free" experience, it was anything but. If you value honesty, transparency, and customer service, book elsewhere.

"I would leave 0 stars if I could"

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I work from home and only had one requirement for my rental, INTERNET ON DAY ONE. We are now on day 6 and I still don't have internet despite promises for 4 days that I would have it. Keep getting the run around and broken promises from customer service. Stay away if you rely on internet.
