I worked with Carlo Dimas, who was very helpful and responsive in helping me to reserve a short-term apartment halfway across the country. He answered the phone (a rarity in the service industry these days) and always followed up on my questions and issues.

The website was very user friendly. Once I found an apartment in an area we felt safe in I reached out for assistance.

Ernesto was a blessing. Patient with my many questions and extremely knowledgeable. We walked step by step through the process and wait for our May move in.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Coming from a property manager, the communication with this company is by far the WORST I have ever experienced. Additionally, they early terminated their lease and never paid the fee. Some kind of company... what a joke.

I stayed in two units this week. Everything from check in to the buildings have been perfect. My host went above and above to welcome me to the city.

"AVOID at all costs "

AVOID. This company will do anything to ensure they profit off of you & will do little to care about your actual experience. While the Standby Pass seems cool in theory, it’s actually a nightmare. The apartments are never clean. Used hairbrushes, fast food wrappers under the bed; dirty and used dishes. Bugs and bath tubs that back up with dirt and unusable for days because they don’t prioritize maintenance.

The worst part, though, is their “customer service.” Every rep you talk to will tell you a different story. They all have different rules and will mess up your reservations because they do not understand how their company works. On top of that, you are forced to call customer service because you can do very little yourself on the actual app. If you want to submit a ticket via the app, you are forced to call — that is if you can even find a customer support number.

The entire experience is honestly a true nightmare and it’s actually cheaper to book Airbnbs because there is so little availability with their standby program you will have to pay for expensive nights somewhere else after you’ve been bumped every week with no options left in the area.

I honestly wanted to love this program, but it is by far the biggest waste of money and headache I’ve had. Avoid at all costs.
