Horrendous Experience!Do not use!
Unfortunately our trusted Fanancial advisor recommended "My Law Matters"to us to be our daughters conveyancer for the purchase of her 1st property.Sadly it was a major mistake.Right from the beginning, as soon as we had paid the solicitors deposit,the employees working on her case namely Selina and Sonia had no or little interest in moving forward whatsoever. The whole process caused my daughter,her vendors and myself a great deal of stress to the point it was seriously affecting our daughters mental health.There were many factors in the process which they were totally incompetent in every aspect.You just couldn't make it up,but the part of it I was involved in was where the deposit had come from.This should have been sorted right at the beginning of the process but instead they left it to the 11th hour just before completion.I had gifted my daughter money from my mums will.I fully understand checks on money laundering ,but their process was unbelievable. To begin with they emailed us(as you could never speak to them) that if we didn't send the correct information that they requested they would charge us £90 for each email they sent!They asked me for documentation A,which I sent,so then they asked for documentation B which I sent,then documentation C etc. Their requests always seemed to come on a Friday afternoon at 4.30pm!!!They just wanted to make everyone's life as difficult as possible instead of asking for A,B &C at the same time.We got to the point where we were wondering if they were just totally incompetent or playing a stupid game with us!!
I ask you, unless you want a lot of unwanted stress in your life,please do not use "My Law Matters"because to them it certainly doesn't matter at all.
My opinion also is that looking at the reviews on Trust Pilot most of the 5 stars are false and fake.Having many,many fantastic reviews in the space of a few days,also how they are written and by who tells me that it's all made up.They also pretend to reply to the good ones but ignore the bad as they couldn't care less!But you can be the judge of that.As I say,that's my opinion.

I read the bad reviews, but unfortunately I thought it wouldn't happen to me, it took the company 3 months only to tell me that they cannot manage the work load and have dropped my case, 3 months of being strung along cost me the purchase of my property. They also tried to refund me less than I initially paid after all of that for an "admin fee" this firm is so unorganised and cheeky that you just have to find it funny at this point. There's plenty of other firms with good reviews you should use instead I went with this one as it was a referral from my mortgage broker. Just take the time do the research and find a company with better reviews.

Fees are reasonable.
As a first time buyer I was panicking but team had answers for everything I needed.
