I have been a customer since my dog was 12wks old. Her 5th birthday was in January and I’ve been stung with a extortionate renewal increase of 84%!
My dog has no chronic conditions, you have her full medical history with NO pre-existing conditions as she has been with you since the day I brought her home. I am veterinary staff, therefore benefit from 50% discount to my veterinary invoices which has always been passed on to you to benefit from. I fail to understand how this increase is justifiable, especially as you apply sneaky inner limits to every single aspect of veterinary care, meaning EVERY service invoiced to me for my dogs treatment/medication would suffer a pricey shortfall I am liable for.
Needless to say I have declined your renewal and will take my business elsewhere, because your pricing is so far from realistic for my dogs age/health/claim history. Do NOT choose Scratch and Patch for your pet, choose a reputable, established company that offers comprehensive, reliable cover with reasonable caps on policy premium increases. 84%?! Jokers!

"Absolute rubbish"

Absolute rubbish - the processing of claims by Davies Group is terrible. They try and diminish the amount of your claim and move the goal posts so many times, it makes a really awful experience into a much worse one. You're told one thing is acceptable eg a bank statement showing the transaction as proof of purchase but then told it's not acceptable, that you need a signed receipt. Knowing that most people after several years will probably not have kept a receipt, however a bank statement does indeed give the name of the person you purchased your dog from, amount and date - how much more can be proof of payment? Disgusting experience, I will never ever use this company again. If I could use no stars, I would as they don't even deserve one star.
