"Fake"

Fake! Liar! It said I saved cashback after purchase. However, it would be rejected when I cashed out the money.

"Cash back claim"

The process of claiming the cash back is very simple. The only issue I have is it takes up to 10 days to show in your account. The 1st time I did a cash back request this was not fully clear but as this was a subsequent payment I’m now aware of it so I don’t see it as a major hurdle.

There are a lot of this type of scheme around, so I was initially sceptical, but the Complete Savings was as good as its word and I saved £20, first time around. Will definitely use this again.

"Tracking on this website is poor…"

Tracking your cashback payments on this website is really poor. I wouldn't recommend because of this. I don't mean tracking of purchases made. I mean when cash back has been paid its very difficult to find out which transaction it relates to as they are often grouped together. Trust me I now have to email for a breakdown of most of my payments because they are grouped together and no filter on the website helps with that. I've fed the info back to complete savings but all I get back is useless standard apology emails.

Whenever I receive an email saying my claim for a transfer of cashback to my bank account has been approved I am invited to write a review and whilst I have never felt deceived by Complete Savings their accounting system leaves a great deal to be desired due to an Executive decision supposedly for the general benefit of all individual members which in reality only benefits Complete Savings. Each individual cashback reward is first of all pending for a number of days before it becomes approved and only when it comes part of a total of £5 or more can it be claimed at which point it becomes pending once more until another period of several days will pass before it becomes approved. All this procedure is totally opaque and apparently for the benefit of all members to ensure that everyone gets treated fairly and equally but I ask the question as to why a reward that passes from pending to approved then goes back to pending again before it can be approved for transfer to my bank account. And it doesn't end there because even in this age of online banking where transfer of money can be done virtually instantly Complete Savings give themselves under their Terms of Service up to another 10 days to finally see it reflected in my registered bank account. So a transaction that in itself exceeds the £5 minimum for transfer made by myself on 7 March and approved and claimed on 13 March has to wait until 21 March to finally get approval to wing its way to my bank account and reach there by the end of the month if I am lucky. What is happening during all this time and why is a purchase that has been through pending and approval then put through pending and approval again and then still takes up to 10 days to finally reach my bank account? It is like getting blood out of a stone and you may even then not be out of the woods because even two months later cashback may be claimed back without explanation except that it is on a report from the merchant which Complete Savings will say is nothing to do with them.
To summarise then I would say Complete Savings is a worthwhile service that is let down by an inadequate computer system that is unreliable and unfathomable and Customer services that probably find it to be the same and because their first language is not English can generally only respond with scripted replies that do not answer the question posed in spite of being well meaning and polite.
