"KRITISABELT!"

Min eksmand, som jeg ejer hus med har lejet vores hus ud igennem denne virksomhed. Da jeg kontakter virksomheden, for at spørge ind til aftalen benægtes det først at have haft nogen kendskab til huset. For kort tid efter i samtalen at erindre den lille detalje, at de HAR hjulpet med at udleje huset, men ikke har mere med det at gøre. Jeg fortæller at jeg ikke har skrevet under på noget, og gerne vil se den kontrakt der er indgået. For at se - ikke den rigtige kontrakt - men en standard kontrakt, skal jeg lige sende bevis på, at jeg ejer huset. Jeg forklarer at den information kan findes på tinglysning.dk og derefter for jeg sendt en standard kontrakt. Han forklarer mig ydermere at de havde fået den information, at jeg var flyttet ud af huset og jeg svarer tilbage med at jeg nærmere er flygtet fra huset grundet voldsom konflikt. Da min eksmand nægter at udlevere mig lejekontrakten, kontakter jeg dem endnu en gang. Jeg skriver en mail, hvor jeg spørger om de har leveret lejekontrakt dertil. Jeg får ikke svar. Derimod har de taget kontakt til min eksmand. Hvilket mildest talt er kritisabelt, da jeg allerede har informeret om det voldsomme konflikt niveau.

"STAY FAR AWAY!"

I'm deeply dismayed by Housing Denmark and their so-called "service." Let me be clear and unequivocal in warning anyone considering using their services: Stay far away! I have never experienced more catastrophic and unethical treatment from a company in my life.

After paying a starting fee of 5,000 DKK for subletting my apartment, I heard almost nothing from them in the following months. Despite repeated attempts on my part to contact them, there was virtually no communication from their side. After a whopping 9 months, my apartment still hadn't been leased, which is a completely unacceptable wait time for a newly renovated flat in the city center.

The few times they did contact me, it was often by phone outside of normal working hours, which seemed highly unprofessional. During the summer vacation, their photographer visited my apartment and shattered a window. Despite my repeated reminders that this needed urgent attention to avoid water damage and break-ins, the window was only replaced 11 days after the incident.

Adding to my frustration, Housing Denmark managed to lose the key to my apartment, which they had borrowed from our craftsmen. I had to personally arrange to have the locks recoded while living abroad, as they had apparently left the key on a table in the craftsmen's container, resulting in its loss. How can a company claiming to assist with property rentals lose something as critical as a key? Sadly, this underscores their lack of attention and accountability in a significant way.

After 9 months and numerous attempts on my part, they finally began arranging sporadic viewings. Regrettably, I wasn't properly informed about these viewings, which meant that strangers entered the apartment while my partner was in bed sleeping. This was both uncomfortable and a clear violation of our privacy.

The most shocking part of it all was their aggressive attempts to pressure me into lowering the price (by 10,000 DKK!) to a new price well below their initial estimate. They also tried to persuade me to accept a rental period of 2 years instead of the original 1-1.5 years, along with an unfurnished lease. All of this was a complete breach of our initial agreement. When I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and advertise my apartment on my personal Instagram, it became clear that the problem wasn't my apartment, but rather their total lack of effort and competence. I received numerous positive responses and found a perfect tenant within just 4 hours. It's a shame that I wasted 9 months on their useless service.

I finally made the decision to rent out the apartment on my own and thus avoid their incompetence. Despite their glaring failure, they refused to cancel the starting fee, as if it's acceptable to charge for a service they never delivered. And let me remind you, they actually sent me a bill for the window their own photographer shattered (which I, of course, haven't paid).

I hope that my anger and frustration can serve as a warning to others considering their services. Find a more reliable and professional rental agent who will actually uphold their promises.
