Furniture To Go

"I had previously wrote my negative…"
I had previously wrote my negative review for Robert Dyas only now realizing that the supplier this item was coming from was Furniture To Go. I now want to post my review here as there are so many stories here that match my experience! Surprised any company still wants to work with them!
My review is as follows:
Ordered a dining table which was available on numerous online sites, but decided to go with Robert Dyas as they had a sale on the item, so this was a little lower in cost compared to others. Needed the table by 11th Jan and the table had a delivery date of 'by 7th Jan' so decided this was the best option for us but what a HUGE mistake I made. I received one box on 6th Jan via XDP (notification of delivery sent 30 minutes before the box arrived) with no explanation or clarification on why 1 part of the item was delivered and not the other part. RD Customer services claimed it would be sent to me by 7th and nothing arrived. I then chased them via multiple phone calls, to be told that the item will arrive on 8th - and once again, there is no delivery. I then get told to hold as they will try to get the second box delivered ASAP before 11th Jan, only then to be told that they will arrange for a collection of the first box after 6 hours of back and forth, and only after the first box is received at their depot, they will process a refund. WHAT A JOKE. They will arrange a collection with a courier who can't even give them a reliable date for something to be delivered, and they expect to me to believe that someone will pick up the partial delivery at any point tomorrow. The amount of stress I have had to go through whilst trying to plan for my sons birthday party, looking forward to having a dining table a few days in advance has been indescribable. Stress is an understatement - I have 1 day to try and arrange something else for Saturday. Compensation for all the inconveniences and stresses aside (they do not offer compensation), they can't even process the refund.

"Poor quality and service "
Ordered a chest of drawers and when assembled the predrilled holes for the bottom drawer were 1.5cm out so couldn't be assembled properly. These were professionally assembled. Flagged straight away to company and the communication and response was very slow and poor. I sent photos to prove my issue at start of complaint but they waited 10 days to ask for more photos. I hardly think it's convenient to have a faulty piece of furniture sitting in a room for weeks with knowwhere to store clothes. Had to go and buy another set of drawers from another shop with no issues. Weeks on and still no resolution. Drawers are now in the tip because I have no more patience left. Avoid this company at all costs. They take responsibility or accountability for nothing and their customer service speaks for itself. Wish I had looked at reviews first. Lesson learned.

"Purchased an item though B&Q online"
Purchased an item though B&Q online, once bought the item showed as a delivery within 1 week. 1 week had passed and I had messaged through the online account and also phoned B&Q. The result was that the order was out of stock and back ordered and would have to wait another 3 weeks until restock. There was no communication until I had chased them. With little care from the seller I have had to purchase from another company and will also have to wait 14days for the refund. If the seller had contacted as soon as the item was found to be out of stock this would have been the correct proccess but obviously a very poorly ran company who hope that they can get the sales through 3rd parties where they do not show the reviews of previous customers.

"Absolutely awful product ordered…"
Absolutely awful product ordered through Debenhams. Table doesn’t even come with legs, you have to build the legs! The “wood” for the legs was cracked and chipped and the F8 bolts/connectors too short. Table top scuffed and scratched. A big visible, deep scratch down it.
Requested a refund and pick up arranged through their dreadful courier company.
Will immediately begin small claims proceedings if refund is refused.
Do not use this company and buyer beware anyone looking at Debenhams, Range etc..

"Beware of buying anything from this…"
Beware of buying anything from this company. They are not professional.
I ordered the marble toped Tarifa Table from B&Q which was actually a third party link to buy from Furniture to Go. The table turned up on an enormous pallet. The delivery man was not authorised to bring it into the house so we had to stick it in the garage and now I am not sure how on earth I am going to get it into the house. There was no prior warning that the item would be delivered like this. The only things I have ever had delivered like this have been sanitary wares in which case the builders have been able to get the items brough in situ. I have bought many tables but none delivered like this. B&Q aren't interested. They say it is not their problem as they are not the seller. Funny that they are the recipients on the funds taken from my credit card. Absolutely disgusting all round.

"Ordered 2 bookcases Through Debenhams."
Ordered 2 bookcases Through Debenhams.
Assembled one it was of very poor quality.
We returned one unopened and still await refund.
We dismantled the other. There was no damage and repackaged it and requested a return.
FTG refuse. Debenhams refuse blaming FTG.
How can you tell the quality of flat pack furniture until it has been assembled.
Steer clear the quality is shocking.

"STAY CLEAR!!"
STAY CLEAR!!!
I purchased a wardrobe via the range (again don't buy online) whom got supplied via furniture to go. After 2 months and still refusing to collect a completely warped wardrobe the fight is still ongoing!! I've dated from may 13th when this issue started and today it's still not resolved! If anything it's taught me to use the credit card because cowboys like furniture to go need to be pushed out the business - they're a disgrace!!!

"Terrible customer service"
I have been trying to contact Furniture to go with regard to a refund I am due for close to 2 months now with no response whatsoever.
Highly frustrating.
I would proceed with caution with regards to this company. I wish i'd checked Trustpilot before ordering from them!
UPDATE: Although there is a response, there's no contact information. I'm still clueless as to what email address I should be using to get a response.

"AVOID"
AVOID
It is advisable to exercise caution regarding this company, as they have been observed to dispatch damaged items without facilitating collection procedures for a complete reimbursement. Their stance appears to be that, as outlined in their policies, if components are found to be damaged or defective within the packaging, they do not undertake collection arrangements for refunds.
