Furniture To Go

"Only half a TV unit received??"
Order placed 19th of September.
I received my order on Monday the 25th of September which was ordered through Argos, but there should be 2 boxes and I have only received one.
I have spoken to your customer services everyday this week, and sometimes twice a day, and I was assured it would be delivered each day, and then the last call was Thursday afternoon where a message was left to tell me it would be delivered Friday (29th) and guess what? still no delivery after spending yet another day waiting in for it to arrive.
I am now loosing patience with waiting for this delivery, and being lied to that it is arriving, and wasting my days staying in the house for these so called deliveries.
I chose to use your company due to the quick delivery times, which is a bit of a joke now really.
As a business owner I am finding this to be extremely unprofessional…errors can happen, but you expect them to be rectified. Instead this is causing me an extreme amount of stress.
I would expect you to be offering to send out a replacement with next day delivery as a good will gesture, as clearly this parcel has either never been sent out ( which the tracking suggests) or lost in transit.
I will be raising a case with PayPal if this cannot be sorted on Monday Morning.

"A nice looking, quality cabinet and easy to put together."
Bought one of their Roomers display cabinets with glazed doors and after an initial awful experience purchasing through The Range and the even worse Courier, XDP, I bought this through Amazon instead.
Initially I blamed FTG also but seems the previous mess was more to do with The Range n their rubbish courier.
I received this very quickly, efficiently and well packaged from Amazon with Arrow XL couriers all spot on n in terms of the cabinet itself am really happy.
It’s of a nice quality, made in Denmark and I honestly have to praise it, I also found it refreshing that it was so easy to build.
Looks very secure, doesn’t move at all now mounted to the wall and I can say am really pleased with it.
So in my experience, maybe I got lucky I dunno, I got a nice piece of furniture.

"absolutely disgusted"
I am absolutely disgusted the way I have been treated. I bought 2x 3drawer chest of drawers and a 5 drawer chest of drawers from the range. I had to wait for a carpet fitter to fit my carpet as was let down by another carpet fitter.. we were excited to make up the drawers we put 2 of them together and went to put our clothes in to find out we couldn't open the bottom drawers as they were to close to the carpet.. we rang the range to ask for them to collect and get a refund... they asked for photos which we gave and a video to show them the design flaw.. heard nothing back so rang again.. this was over 2 weeks the back and forth me doing the ringing.. rang the range again then only to be told that furniture to go said my carpet was to thick and put some feet on the drawers (really) where i am meant to put them as the chest of drawers are so thin... so sent more photos of the carpet which was of normal thickness...i suffer so bad with mental heath and this has cause so much heart break. I am so mad I even bought from the range now.. I am now taking it further with trading standards and rip off Britain are interested in my story...

"Better Than Wayfair..."
After Wayfair sent me a bed-side table without a handle and damage top. I contacted Wayfair to ask for the parts , they refused to send them and said I would have to package the table up and send it back . So I contacted Furniture To Go and they responded very quickly and was super help full. They sent me the two spare parts free of charge, honestly can't fault them at all.

"Great part replacement service"
Had a bad delivery experience with The Range and also fron The Range I had extremely poor response times however once I had been out through to Furniture to Go, I had responses within 24 hours of my emails and also a relatively fast turn around. I cannot fault Furniture to Go at all.
They saved The Range from having a Paypal case opened against them so that should say enough about how satisfied I am with the service here.

"Refusing to refund not fit for purpose products"
This company is refusing to refund my not fit for purpose wardrobe sold via the range.
Product was flimsy and didn’t fit together well and doors scraping on the carpet.
When asked about this again via the range they said the carpet was too thick and affected the alignment of the wardrobe.
No where in the product description does it say this can’t be used on carpet, they are falsely advertising products and refusing genuine request for a refund.
AVOID this company at all cost they will take your money and leave you lumbered with a piece of crap furniture!!!
Steve
"Absolute joke of a company"
Selling through the range they have the perfect disguise to sell poorly constructed products that are falsely advertised.
They are refusing to refund a product they claim is affected by thick carpet. It’s a wardrobe for my 3 year old sons room of course he’s gonna have carpet. No where on their product description does it say it can’t be used on carpet, they are hiding behind the range and saying they won’t refund it.
Disgusting company don’t care as long as they have your money there is no accountability.
The range need to cancel their contract considering the horror stories that I have seen.

"Avoid avoid avoid at all costs"
Avoid at all costs, sell through the range maybe others, cheap flimsy rubbish damaged furniture and once you order you cannot get your money back from them, need to be exposed on tv, 6 damaged parts to a wardrobe, big crack on side, handles no thread so come off, holes all over it for no reason, back doesn’t stay together which makes the front doors not close, and they wanted to send parts!!! What! the whole wardrobe, it would have to be which they were not willing to do. They tried to say I just need to adjust the hinges, for a crack down the side !!! Terrible company not interested once they have your money not willing to refund just ignore you, avoid at all costs, luckily I’ve got a refund from the range but that took me over a month, they need reporting to trading standards which I will do hope others do to rip off company !!!

"Month-long nightmare, delivered to the wrong house, damaged furniture, collection dates ignored. Please do not order if you have any disabilities."

May 3rd - Order dispatched with courier XDP.
May 10th - Order marked as delivered on the tracking. Nothing has arrived. I raised this issue with The Range and was told to disregard the tracking and to wait nine days for the delivery window to be fulfilled. Looking back it seems questionable to expect a customer to not leave the house for nine days under the impression a sizable amount of furniture could arrive at any time.
May 11th - Tracking information updates with a delivery sheet stating "front porch" despite my address having no front porch. The sheet also says "consignee signature required" for delivery yet no signature was present.
XDP's live chat was down so I leave the courier a message via their contact form. I have still received no reply to this.
May 12th - Called The Range again due to the false delivery information, this time was told that this information would be passed along to their partner Furniture to Go.
May 13th - Neighbour notifies me that my furniture was left outside their house, so the courier had delivered to the wrong address. Everything I entered was 100% accurate.
All parcels had been left outside by the courier so had subsequently been water damaged. The water damage had opened some ends of the heavy parcels so carrying them home was difficult, and XDP had delivered this to a house across a road and car park.
I'm generally not healthy. If I was much worse I would be unable to carry all of this home myself as they are big and heavy parcels. I have no idea what their resolution would be for that.
I take timestamped photo evidence, and also notice some of the wood has been chipped along with the parcel's water damage. The Range agree on a collection and exchanging for replacements. I was patient and apologised for being any trouble at all.
May 19th - Collection for May 23rd is arranged. Collection PDFs are emailed for me to print off for each parcel. Due to the size of the parcels this means more physical labour to manoeuvre them around. Again, just a note for those that may have any physical issues that would make this potentially difficult.
May 22nd - Automated XDP email reminds me of collection tomorrow and that a three hour ETA will be sent in the morning.
May 23rd - The ETA email does not arrive. I sit around waiting for a collection that does not occur. With no communication I'm left unsure if or when they could arrive in the coming days, along with The Range previously telling me to disregard tracking information, so I accept that I cannot leave the house for days just in case someone turns up.
May 24th - I got an email reply from The Range that repeated the above information about collection even though the window had already passed. They asked "are you able to advise if any of the boxes are not damaged and can be used?". At that time the company recouping their losses should not be the priority.
New collection PDFs come through with a new consignment number. I remove the old sheets from the parcels and attach the new ones, again difficult due to the weight.
For days I move the parcels to not get in the way of daily living and when bringing our recycling bins through the house. I have to question what exactly we would do if we had more pressing physical ailments.
May 31st - I receive an automated email from XDP with a 3 hour ETA. This is now going back to using the first consignment number so I have to reapply the original labels.
Again the courier does not arrive. There is no communication to let me know.
June 1st - TrustPilot review for The Range. I make it clear that a refund is necessary and not a replacement. I have been abused as a customer for a considerable number of days and want an end. The response says another collection and replacement is set up.
June 2nd - Another collection arranged. No courier arrival.
A complaint has been raised with consumer advice as my requests and details of complaint have been overlooked by either The Range or FTG. Please raise this with a manager that can issue a refund for me. Your continued requests that I sit around for days awaiting deliveries and collections that do not happen are an abuse of power. This is evidenced by the literal weeks that have passed without progress. Unless resolved swiftly I will continue to seek avenues of formal complaint as this has overstepped into harassing your customer. For a majority of this month I've been forced to remain indoors under false pretence that either a delivery or collection will arrive. I have cancelled multiple plans for this.
If you have any disabilities and are interested in purchasing anything that may cause physical strain please don't order as you may be put in a situation where you cannot assist yourself during these issues. I'm autistic, this has been incredibly stressful for me, I've done everything you have asked. Please refund.

"Worst delivery and aftersales service ever"
What a trauma....
I had a pallet delivery of 6 items that didn't turn up on the day they were meant to, I had arranged for a labourer with I still had to pay. Then I got 30 mins notice that they were arriving on an alternative day. 350 KG of boxes and no time to arrange any help whatsoever. During assembly Parts were missing which are taking weeks to arrive.
I had to order another item which has hand delivered, again it missed its delivery slot, it was left when no one was home with clear damage to the boxes. The damage was so bad that I would have refused delivery had I been home as you could see the furniture parts from the outside as a result of the damage to the boxes. Why the courier left it is a simply laughable. Now I am forced to wait 4-6 weeks for spare parts to arrive from Europe despite the item still showing as in stock and available in the UK. Good service would have them send a complete replacement or at least take the spares from one of the in stock items and replace when they get the parts from Europe.
Ironically the furniture itself is one of the better flat pack furniture I have assembled in years (miles ahead of the like of IKEA). I still need to furnish 2 bedrooms and would have been happy to buy more furniture but with this level of service its simply not worth the hassle and stress - I would avoid using this company if you plan on refurbishing a room you need to actually use, of course if you have 2-3 months spare then fill your boots.
