"Hale In Screen Pet Door"

Great door! My dog now has two Hale doors, which frees me up on both floors of my house. One off the kitchen and one off the balcony of my 2nd floor office. Very easy to install, attractive and easy for my dog to use.

It's a good product.. My fur baby took him about 3 to 5 days in learning how to use it..Now he can go in and out with the pet door with ease.

It's scary to think about punching a hole through your wall and masonry. The directions were great and the install went smoothly. Dog loves the door!

The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the fuzzy black flap trim. It bunches together and doesn't appear to be that good of quality.

I bought the small-medium-tall wall unit - Clear instructions, solid materials and excellent construction make this a great door, I installed it myself in about 4.5 hrs. The only problem a home installer might have is cutting the tunnel as it is a nice heavy gauge sheet metal (fortunately I have a full set of tin snips). The flaps are really well made with three magnets on each one so it provide a great seal.

If your dog is timid about going into or under things I would recommend getting the training flap. I made one and it is helping but the Hale one looks like it would be much better.

i purchased a 700 plus dollar door back in nov of 2015 installed in early january since then i love the door but im loosing magnets about 1 a month . i'm missing 4 magnets so far. i wrote hale a few months back but didn't hear anything back not even a call to sent me new magnets . i really like the door but i need another door in the next few months , but i think i'm gonna look into another door company unless hale takes care of my problem

"Hale provided out of date parts-free of charge ."

I have two twenty year old wall type doors for my two large dogs. When I ordered flexible replacement doors from Hale, the new magnets and weatherstripping wouldn't fit. A telephone call to Hale reveled that the parts had been re-designed. However, they came up with the old parts that I needed and shipped them in two days, all at no cost to me. I was impressed. I would certainly recommend Hale to anyone.

The quality of product is superior, and I now have a new door once again with the installation of the new flaps. The only mistake I made is that I should have had the Hale people complete the installation for me rather than doing it myself since it is a bigger task than expected. Regardless, the flaps are installed, and while it took longer since it was DIY project, it was successful! I am thankful that I had a Hale Pet door installed years ago, and would have them do so time and again.

We are very pleased with our Hale Dog Door- it is a well thought-out product; well engineered with strong, durable materiels- it is built for heavy use, and to hold up for quite some time.

It was simple to install. The inside and tunnel are all together for you. Put it in and attach the outer portion. Seal it up and done.
Not a bunch of pieces to fumble with while installing.
I'll use these doors from now on.
